If only people would look around as there are old bands like Pretty Maids and Demon who no one has heard of and we have the recent/continuous/new bands that people won’t try because they’re new. These still rock like they were an 80’s band - bands like Eclipse,Gotthard,Human Zoo,Crazy Lixx...too many.

metalheads from slovakia greetings. this is music this is real vioce, this is real art. simple but toally amazing and masterly done. i have never listened to something else as metal music - just the liturgy in the church cause I am a pastor. but everyone who has ears and understands music has to adore this music and simply masterpiece. I grew up with two things - bible in my hands and metal in my ears and with these two things I will die.

MishuTaste It's true, but I was born in the nineties and I had no occasion to see this artist and others when they were in the prime of their careers. I just I can make do with the legacy left by those wonderful years. I could not live with consciousness what happened in the decade in which I was born, in fact I'm just learning all around nineties by this site and others. Sorry my bad English, I'm Spanish.

I remember the first video I ever saw of hers, when she was frontin' Warlock. "All We Are" I was absolutely blown away to hear a woman that could belt out metal as well if not better than men like Rob Halford or Blackie Lawless (My two fave metal singers.) I was 18 and saw her on Headbangers ball. Until she came along all we had for female metal groups was crap like Vixen and Lita Ford.

Amergin The Celtic Druid Be careful of what you wish for. Take it from me. It wasn't a picnic growing up as a hormonal teen in the eighties with a huge crush on Doro, a lot of frustration were running around back then. Luckily I'm an adult now and see things a little differently but I still love her music at least. A couple of years ago I finally saw her live for the first time oh man what an experience that was. That night she played almost every track from the Triumph and Agony album which just happens to be my favourite album so needless to say that I was ecstatic. But I gotta say that now she is 50 years old but it doesn't look like she aged a single day. She is still the gorgeous woman she always been...

No Problem, You should be able to listen to her live... She does perfomances, getting older, but nontheless the Metal queen with as much power as she always had

Definitely in the top of the metal queens, but, in Canada, we had our own Metal Queen in Lee Aaron! Her earlier stuff was pretty heavy, kind of like Warlock. But Lee started to become more radio friendly and lost the metal edge. Still like her radio stuff too though!

In my country, Metal (all subgenres) is criticized, dismissed, displayed with satanism, and isn't showed on TV, except for tendancious subjects in "investigation" programs. I'm born in the wrong country. But with my friends, we support Metal, we play it loud and proud ! We are family. Hails from France.

Saw Warlock in the 80's in Germany... Freakin bad ass.

I must confess I am pretty ashamed of not knowing Doro´s work as I should have. From the late ´70s and, especially, from the ´80s, she and Lita Ford have paved the way for the female Metalheads we have today ! Heavy Metal is no doubt the most universal and widespread music genre. It has no boundaries !
