I’ve done 2000 deliveries. Go at the dinner hour, make sure the food is hot, or cold, be friendly if you see the client, check the order. I had one today that didn’t include the drink at pick-up so I made them check the bag and put the drink in the bag. Also, you will make more money in wealthier communities but you have to be comfortable with not knowing the addresses (which I’m not.) I’m 71 and have no directional ability so it’s too stressful. I am a top dasher and take pride in what I do.

When I decline orders I don’t have the option to say why I decline, it’s only if I cancel an order that I get the option to say why.

I've driven both Uber Eats and Door Dash. My criteria was based more on $ per hour than distance. Ten dollars in 25 minutes is better than 19 dollars in an hour. Many of the shorter distances were to apartments that cost me a lot of time. I've had some that took me over 20 minutes AFTER I was inside the gate. Also, I made killer money after midnight. Less competition, and many of the people who stay up late are kids (think party munchies) who more freely spend money and they want their order APAP, but can't drive, i.e. tip more! Most of my $20+ orders happen late at night.

what's your market? I'm on week 4 slowly ramping up I had $430 on doordash and $275 uber eats last week, running both at the same time. Dash time was 30 hrs. In Phoenix. I'm gonna experiment more with late night cause jack in the box seems like it might be pretty busy

Hi. I think I saw that you were in California and the price is there are higher than a lot of places so taking a lower paying Dash will be different for you then someone in a lower income area. Where I live in South Carolina the $7 and $8.00 runs are the higher paying ones. Just thought I'd mention that in case you hadn't thought of that. Thanks for all your great videos. Just found your page searching 2023 surron cause I miss mine, sadly had to get rid of it but stayed for the dashing tips. I'm 2 months in and i live in a rural area so I can make $100+ a day if i'm working at least 7hrs. I don't use the "order is too small" often cause I took that as # of items but good to know its about price so i'm going to give that a shot now to get more monies! These bigass orders must be a California thing. I’ve done over 1k deliveries in 6 months in Vegas and almost 1/50 are $15+ orders. Most are 5.75-6.25 for 4-6 miles. And a TON of $2 for 12 miles orders.

Same here in Atlanta, too. LOTS of rich people who don't or barely tip & LOTS of both Uber AND DoorDash offering TONS of crap offers ($2-4 for 7+ miles, etc) Lately, Uber has started offering me like MAYBE 10 offers a day...& like LITERALLY TWO of them are moderately acceptable....hence why I made DD my primary now. Still...it's hard to even make $100/day more often than not now (w/o driving for 9+ hours in order to do so)

The Acceptance Rate believe it or not will also affect your offers, specifically if you're under 50%.

They took that decline feature off door dash nomore asking you why you declined your order

In order to utilize this strategy, you need to decline a lot of orders. Do you try to navigate this strategy around also staying around the 70 percent acceptance rate so you can be “top dasher?” Or do you find being “top dasher” is not that important. For me, I like being “top dasher,” just so I do not have to sign up for shifts.

AR isn't nearly as important as the Completion Rate. If your CR is above 95% you can achieve Top D with a 20% AR. Keep your Customer Rating above 4.7 and CR above 95, preferably 97% and Time of delivery 90 and above, you'll get the Big D in no time 😀 😉 😄 👍🏼 🦾🥒

Hi I just left a comment on one of your other videos and you redirected me to watch this one first because you said I missed the first steps. Thank you by the way so as I previously stated in your other comment section . . I'm new to door dashing and the app does not have a decline button only an accept button. I downloaded app this month ( March 2023) so what would I do? I only declined the one order as stated in my other comment and the acceptance rate dropped to 75% percent. Riding around for 3 hours straight just to make $43😦 Gas and mileage. Idk So are you saying accept all orders $50-100 no matter how bad they are? So DD know I'm really interested. i started door dash today I had orders that where plus 7 miles and small orders I cancelled almost all of them because they where to far and to small . but now I'm worried I'm just not gonna get any orders now because I cancelled so many bad ones. also should I stay in a highlighted hot spot. Try different areas regardless of zones and learn what small business restaurants tend to get big orders for the dinner rush. I started a dash next to a local pizza chain and got a stacked order, then made sure to drive toward the same place on delivery #2 the next day and landed an 11 item order with a $30 tip. You'll find your cash cows over time, definitely takes some trial and error though.

Are the decline options gone, now ? iOs does not give options of decline. Or is this only on Android, the decline options. Someone please help

In my experience the feedback means nothing. Gigtubers have mentioned, or joked about it too. I've never heard anyone say it helps. I don't think it does. I can hit too far 30 times and get tons more over 10 miles away. Years if doing DD, same result

I was always picky but since returning to doordash after a year and a half of not doing it I find I either have to be less picky with doordash or use another app altogether because there are too many dash drivers in my area with not enough demand. I ended a dash by accident and was locked out because the whole city was greyed out for a little while.

Even if this is all of a placebo, I think this system still works because its almost like using mantras to manifest what you want; A constant reminder of what you are looking for, and what you are trying to avoid, therefore you will eventually get what you want.

My acceptance rate is currently 25% I was at 3% been tryna to bring up to a 50% but I can’t accept no tip orders it’s a form of disrespect! It’s been harder to make $200 a day now it’s way too many dashers in my area. Makes no sense I’m thinking about getting a regular job shouldn’t take me 8-10 hours to make $150 if that I did 11 deliveries yesterday and made $120 I declined about 40-50 deliveries. Nothing but $2.25 for 8 or more miles. I’m disgusted

The decline information you are giving for doordash had nothing to do with future offers to you. It's for Doordash to collect information on reason why dasher are declining orders. I know this is a 3 month old video but now they got rid of that screen.

Since when did you become the Door Dash whisperer? You can hit too small on declines all day long, but you still get 3.50 orders. You don't get higher orders. The system sends the order to whoever is nearest the restaurant. That's the algorithm! It's not brain surgery dude!

Its def influential. Watch any of my ridealongs to see it in action. In this one specifically I end up on a bike with a lot less speed and range so I use my decline options to get me shorter distance orders that are still high paying: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fmSsrbuudL2Wkdo.html

Every order I decline is designated as too small. If I get an order for 20 dollars for say 7 miles, but the 7 miles is during rush hour and it'll take over 30 minutes to work thru traffic to deliver. I click too small. Cuz it is too small of fee. If the fee was 30 dollars, I'd take and be fine fighting the traffic. DD best days are behind. Pandemic OVER people no longer have need for delivery.
