So far I’ve gotten $45 from solo so I’ve basically made what I spent and I still got about 2 weeks left. So I’m guessing I’ll probably get $100 a month. And I can put it on my taxes too. Win win for me.

@@hockeypnc3 You just named 4 places most drivers hate to pick up from, because of low pay to mileage ratio or no tippers. lol I saw way to many signs in my area on actual restaurants (not fast food) that are all closing early, 3 or 4 pm. Also roads will be closed and many detours, and the regular high tipping customers will be out barbequing or at events waiting for fireworks. 3 yrs been dashing and days before /after, pay way more then on the 4th and why I am definitely passing driving this yr. But if you like long wait times at the fast food places, because everything else is closed and sitting in traffic because of road closures/detours, causing you to possibly get a few contract violations. I say go for it.

Guaranteed pay is a scam. Solo will claim you worked outside of metro boundary even if you only go to restaurants/stores within the zone designated by that particular gig. For example, on Spark, if I only go to Walmarts listed in what Spark designated as the Myrtle Beach zone, Solo will get around paying their guarantee by claiming "worked outside metro boundary", even though Solo won't show you what that boundary is. SCAM. People only make money from it by peddling it on other people.

I give Pedro credit. Most Gigtubers are in a catch 22, let me explain. I assume most creators are tired of delivering food, but need to continue doing it to have content. The sponsorships and KZread revenue appear lucrative, but delivery work is not long-term. Many creators want to do something else, but come back to DD content (ex: Nuggs, GigEcon Don, Moore Finance, etc). Pedro is smart, and understands his viewers want DD content. He is making the best of this catch 22, and giving us what we want. While I understand where Nuggs is coming from, I think he’s making a mistake by quitting DD content (again). Pedro is getting his bag with these sponsorships, but also helping drivers. Nicely plaid, get that money!
