I noticed the same thing the tips are getting better for EBT. I had 2 LOP-catering orders in the last week and both paid very well.

Probably an effort to have people take higher mileage orders so they don't have to be as concerned with as many dead miles heading back to their zone. I'm sure it's not to help drivers in any actual way

I wonder if this new program will require dashers to go to an address and take a bag of trash, or wheel a bin to the curb. Maybe pickup a package and take it to the post office or retrieve their mail from the box. Any sort of manual labor tasks that DoorDash can sell to a customer for a monthly subscription. Maybe it's something for the elderly or people who can verify to DoorDash they have a physical disability. However, knowing DoorDash, it'll likely pay the same as EBT.. maybe they tip, but they probably won't.

25 MPG city driving is my guess to your average, and since you leave your car idling I would bet any 45 mph to 55 mph stretches do not up the overall.

I hate those unstable drink trays. I'd rather a 4 cup one with the 2 on opposite sides from each other. I don't understand the places that make bubble tea (drinks with the huge tapioca at the bottom) and then hand the drinks to you in a bag. Ive even seen people walking from the cafe area at Costco with their pepsi cups in a clear produce bag. I shake my head sometimes.😂😊

1st!!! 😀 BTW, Charley, for what it's worth, I drive a Subaru Outback. I don't know what the "pilot programs" entail; however, I do earn an occasional extra $1 for transmitting DoorDash a photo or photos of a restaurant's menu. I haven't received the email you alluded to.

I had a 2017 Camry se. Drove it into the ground and it ran and ran until a lady t boned me. 239,000 miles at that point . Great car you’ll like it

i have a toyota chr, if i have it on eco mode its the slowest thing ever.. ppl get mad at me around here 😅 cali drivers like to drive fast.. i dont care gas is too expensive to be a maniac on these rural roads..

I don't blame you. I try to drive my hybrid in eco mode too. Makes a huge difference in mpgs since they delay the throttle

@@TheBrashDasher love the Camry had a 99 had 140k on it. My buddy desperately needed a vehicle I could afford a new one he couldn't so I gave it to him he drove it for 6 more yrs 270k miles unfortunately cape cod is rust heaven Again I wish you well but you bought a great car...

The ones I could find had the same or higher mileage than the Camry. The Camry was $6-7k cheaper
