Just finished my 1st full year on DD. I had a target of 15k on top of my full time job. I got the flu the last couple weeks. Despite a strong finish last week of EOFY, I’ve missed target by a few hundred dollaridoos. But I’ve gained a huge amount of experience and confidence from where I was 12 months ago so I’ve got the same target as a benchmark with a stretch goal to 20k. Let’s get it. ✌🏻

@@sadville13 it varied considerably week to week. I’d been logged on average 15hrs a week and actually active about 10.

I like the idea of Uber and Doordash being a small business. Lots of small businesses struggle to break even and even with fuel, wear and tear on the car - you can still turn a profit. Heaps of small businesses owners work endless hours a day just to make a few bucks

Really new to UE and DD - stumbled on your channel and was inspired by it. It spun me out seeing you deliver around Caloundra :) Don't worry, I'm not on your turf, haha. I would really encourage people to work out their net earnings, especially in Australia. It's important to understand your tax situation. Yes, I watched your tax video, Chris, a banger! For me, personally, with an EV and free power at home with solar and batteries, using the cents per kilometre method aligns with my earnings goals. If I were to exceed the 5,000 km limit, I would need to consider the logbook method, which might not be as beneficial for me due to my setup. On average, I net about $2 per km in Brisbane (based on one week's data on EE). This helps me target my goal of $10,000 a year. Exceeding this would reduce my earnings per km by about 33% after the first 5,000 km.

I think there’s a glitch in the doordash app - I follow the map To the customers address & 5 customers this month have called me saying I delivered it to the wrong address. I follow the app and take it where the app takes me. I’m nervous I’m gonna get deactivated , is anyone else having this issue

Make sure you check the right house or unit number before delivering the food. You can also use google maps to double check the address. I hope this helps:)

I have a about 31 hours now with my regular job working with the youth and teaching pickleball. I'm gonna be success with my steelers channel. Target is 10k subs by the end of Christmas 🎄

Fun note. As Australian min wage has gone up again to ~$24. The UE & DD algorithm have not gone up subsequently and currently pay lower that ph. Personally my goal is to finish my training before eoy 24 and never touch these delivery apps again.

Thanks man. Generally theres a starter kit they send out after youve done a delivery, but if they dont Ive heard alot of people just ask the support team for a starter kit and they get some stuff. Im a little out of the loop what they offer these days, but the most important thing to focus on is learning your zone and getting some extra money rolling in to your account 🙂🤘

Delivery driving my 3rd job for when my 2nd job lets me down re not enough shifts - Currently driving about 40hrs per week - Doing the tax calcs now but aim is to cover this year's (23-24) tax paid shortfall due AND prepay 24-25 tax paid shortfall AND an extra $10k towards what will be by then a well-earned holiday! 🚙😅🎉✈️

My goal was to make 35 thousand this year for Gig app work but I'm definitely behind on that goal so realistically I might have to switch it to 25 to 30 thousand.

I use an ebike, my goal is $50 a week lol
