When I first began I wasn’t paying attention to the miles and accepted a $3 dash that was 11 miles away. I felt stupid and said “Never again”.
I got a $10 cash tip the other day on top of a $10 payout through doordash for less than 2 miles from pickup to delivery.
Christmas Eve we had a big rain storm in PA and there was a +$6 bonus. I worked 1.9 hours and got $74 + a $20 cash tip
We have to take a stand or this will keep happening if customers want someone to bring them food they need to tip atleast $5 or more. door dash doesn’t pay enough for you not to tip, if not go ...get the food yourself.....
Great vid. I have always been visually confused under the pressure to accept the order while driving. I feel much more prepared with this vid.
Accepting the longer order is usually a no for me cause it’s too time consuming. To drive 10 miles in my area takes 12-15 min plus wait time and takes me way out of accepting another order as I’m more in the country . So this call would take 35-40 min . Nope
Very helpful takes away a little of the beginner's nerves. Thank you for all the helpful videos!
Excellent video, Mike. IMO, having watched virtually every KZread influencer who discusses Doordash, you're absolutely the best.
Usually my strategy is accept if the total pay is at least twice the total miles.
Thank you for the break down. This is going to be very helpful for me in the long run
i fully support all top dashers. you guys are awesome!
Here’s a good one . I live near West Point military academy . I had a $20 order and declined it . First it’s 10 miles (way out of accepting another order) and to get through the security check Point is 30-45 min 😮🤷♂️it’s an hour at least plus 20 miles on my car . Right after declining it I got $9 order for 3 miles took 10 min total and kept me in my zone for another order .
You're forgetting one major thing: TIME.
Good video, Also I find that it's good to look at the total number of items a costumer is ordering which might, but not.also, increase the final pay after the delivery is complete based on the tip.
Love this video! There are so many things to consider when selecting orders and I think you covered most of them. A lot of times you really need to know your market area and where they are trying to send you to.
I just started door dash. And this video helped out alot! Thanks Mike😎🎉🎊🎉🎊
Thank you for the advice. At least I can have a general idea when selecting orders and to see if the amount of money I earn is worth traveling the miles on my car.
I just started dashing the other day, this video helped me out a lot in preparing for my first day, thank you man, I appreciate your thoroughness
This is the most helpful DoorDash video I have seen. Thank you.
Last night was crazy we had heavy rain no wives so I was willing to go out . I only worked 6-830pm and did $80!🚨🤪😎🤩
