I had to knock on a door yesterday because I picked up to grocery orders at one spot and the bagger threw all the stuff together. Lady needed her diaper rash cream. Luckily I caught it before I was too far. I went home after that one.

Serious question. Large industrial park with 12 different manufacturing plants on one road. Multiple fast food restaurants less than 1 mile from all 12 places. Good roads and traffic so no jams. So the question is why would dashers deny an order with $5 tip to one of these places. We can’t seem to get any delivery service out to our plant unless we tip 8-10. I mean 2 cheesy double beef burritos is 6.25 after tax at t bell. Ps we cannot leave the plant because it’s food grade manufacturing so we would have to change out of uniform to leave and back in and that would take half of our lunch. Also I’m not throwing shade I’m just trying to understand why a dasher wouldn’t scoop like 7 orders from t bell with $5 tip each and ride them 1/2 mile to some of the plants.

You can still “make money” dashing??? Used to do it a few days a week for some extra$ untill I added up the time and the wear and tear and it was not even worth minimum wage. Used to be a sweeeet side hustle… where are you making money doing this? Props to you: if still do it if I made even close to what you made lol.

I'm in Vancouver, Canada. We have many rich people here that tip great and make Doordash doable.

Love it when people decide to participate in a company that doesnt give them any good money, then blame other civilians in the same rat trap for not shelling out more of what they barely have. If you want more money, make the change and go after the corporations. not the people.
