Winner, Winner!! Perfect. The wiring harness to the panel may be a little snug to switch panel. Once you take it out and put it aside... when putting it back on, use a little bulb silicone greese on the connectors and the plug (light coat, not heavy!) So, in case you have to remove this again down the road it won't be so hard to disconnect. Your illustrations was spot on. THANKS!! Use this video when having to take the door panel off for the 2001 Ford Expedition to replace the lock assembly.

Figured out a good trick for holding the tabs down on the connectors.Broke off a piece of toothpick and wedged it in the tab so i just had to pull and not hold that stupid tab down.

Thanks for your clear and helpful video. At 6:45 you make the comment "everybody forgets this screw." That simple reminder saved me hours of head-scratching and back pain trying to lift the panel off with the screw still attached. Thanks!

Thanks that help me to find the hidden screw, maybe to late but your keyless entry members are stamp on the bottom your computer box under the dash board very easy to see and to lock your expedition press the 7 and 9 buttons at the same time

YOOOO I literally had the same problem with the door lock and I’m so glad you made this video

Spent like 10 mins looking for the T15 bit and the screw was missing from behind the light cover. Lol thanks for the vid it helped.

Very easy to accomplish. Just like he described. The only thing I missed was that the door had to be brought up high and allowed to slide down onto the retainer brackets that are built into the door panel. Less than an hour and the window is back on the track.

Thank you. My window dropped inside. Got to get in there to see why. I would have never figured that out on my own.

There is a code under the dash board to the left of the steering column behind the fuses & up a tad, you should see it printed, using it in a sequence can lock and unlock the driver door I don't know all the combinations using the code but there should be more at least start the vehicle, unlock the rear door. If you have a alarm system that to could be activated using a code combination of those numbers. Check it out sometime.

i think the previous owner of my 2001 glue the switch panel down, my truck has been abused (by them) just found out why they glued it, they broke every tab off

@NathanRohrbough I have a 2000 ford expedition that's new to me, only had it about 3 months and for some reason the driver side and passenger side windows would not roll down, I figured if it's both that means a fuse is out but after pulling and inspecting the fuse it looks fine. I put it back since I don't have any replacements at the moment and the passenger window started working again but the driver side did not. Any ideas or suggestions?

Just in case u or anyone dose not kno where the code for the door is. If u look under the dash under the steering wheel you will see a 5 digit code that is on a box under there that's the code for the door. If anyone would like to see a video of me showing right where it is just ask me

Not really. Only in ford taurus's I had a issue with the gauge stuck on 1/2 tank. Sensor next to the radio.

The anti slush module is what keeps the levels of your gas so when you make turns and stuff your gas gauge doesn't move around. This other video i watched said his expedition i believe it was gauge was not going past half a tank like mind. He bypassed his which would let his gas tank read past half but when he drives the gauge bounces around.

Last year 2002.... 2003 was a redesign
