@@FixingWithPassion ok the flap on my car moved easily. I’ve changed my evap canister & changed the purge solenoid. What else could the issue be? The roll over valve?

I have a 2009 model with the 2.3 Mazda 4 cylinder engine. I have the 5 speed auto trans ,the trans works ok , but one issue I have is that starting out from a dead stop it will shift fine from 1st to 2nd , and 2nd to 3rd, however when it goes from 3rd to 4th it shifts hard ,4th to 5th is fine. It's the 3rd to 4th that shifts hard. Any ideas what could be causing that ? I'm suspecting a shift solenoid ?

I have problems I hope you never have! It started with me putting my SUV online to sell . Guy comes looks at SUV and asked questions… He wanted test drive. I took his license and his registration checked information it was all good and he took SUV for ride! About 30 minutes later I call him and I go right to voicemail no message just leave message full! I checked for other phone numbers. On my phone then called police ! I told them what happened and they took info and called it in on radio . Asked me if I knew him anyone with him . Asked me how he got to my location? He had a friend drop him off who went to local connivence store! Asked me if zi had photos I said yes . In car but may be on cloud. It was ! Could see other person but no plate or any really clear shot ! I contacted. Everyone I know to tell them to keep eye out for my car! 2 hours later I called insurance company. They took all info . I couldn’t stop walking in circles ! I recalled I did know someone who know him Not as friend but kind of knew him from crowd of people they happen to know. Days turned to weeks and insurance company got back to me saying because I gave him keys it was an authorized use! WHAT? Because Zi handed him keys it wasn’t insured theft ! OMG I’m out a $25,000 vehicle! Police said they will let me know if they have any info ! 14 months go by and I’m searching a area size of Manhattan! I used everything you could possibly think of! Search would be good movie . I started watching every road .. I scanned a street and saw my car in someone’s driveway . I went directly there verified VIN Took thjngs out got in with spare key , as I’m driving away he calls snd says he’s been paying it off ! I told him I’ll be happy to meet him. I called police and they said little they could do. Said I could sue him . Oh yeah ! Ummmm I sued him . This happened in Florida I was born and raised in New York City, Bronx Tremont area I sued him !!!!! Yup ! He put 100,000 miles on the car . Only I know that ! Repo man .

What about if you used an impact wrench? Seems like that would make it easier and the movement would help break rust. EDIT: Using an impact wrench worked instantly to push these out with this ball joint separator set. Bought a corded one for 80$ from harbor freight and took a couple seconds to push it out.

  • @FixingWithPassion

True. Most people don't have that tool. So I try to use what most folks have from my results.

@@FixingWithPassion I bought a corded impact wrench for 80$ from harbor freight, was saving a ton of money by doing the work myself so could justify it. I ended up buying this ball joint separator tool set you used with the impact wrench and it came off almost instantly and my studs and nuts were seized BAD. Thanks for the video though as it gave me the idea to try it and didn't want to torch next to my gas tank.

I was recently in a situation where I was junking my car in a week and got a flat (sidewall tear). I didn't want to spend money on it, and I came across your video for some advice. I ended up driving 375KM (230miles) on a donut on the right rear. No issues, but it was city speeds only. For anyone seeing this, here's another confirmation that it's OK to go farther if you're careful (go slow on 90 degree corners and big bumps).

i have a 2016 ford f150 2.7 ecoboost, the person who owned it drove it up lots of hills set a permanant turbo underboost code, i bought vehicle we cleared the regular codes and light i have driven more than 20 drive cycles almost 700 miles its still there no engine light nothing runs great, i dove drive up hills dont have any, but what could take this so long to either give me an engine light or clear the permanant code, is it worth replacing the computer
