Do you also place tape in the front under the brickmold? After the door is installed in the rough opening.

Also, I have a shed/office built on a concrete slab with osb sheeting. I will be installing shiplap cladding. Do you have any recommendations on how to flash the door opening?

If you're using OSB sheathing then you'll likely be using a sheet weather resistive barrier (WRB) like Tyvek. In that case the detail is similar where either the Tyvek or flashing tape should completely cover the rough opening. The only difference should be at the sill. The flashing tape won't stick to the slab so I would flash the sill with a liquid flashing. Zip makes one that I can but at a local supply house or you could order something like Prosoco R Guard from Amazon.

Cool, thanks. However, what is said at 2:28 about what will be inserted in front of the un-caulked sill to finish off the front. Couldn't make out the word. Thanks!

Elizabeth Fisher thanks for the comment! I said the word “weeps” like you might see in a brick wall. I think a good idea is to put in some brick weeps and then caulk the front of the sill. The weeps will allow it to drain. That way the weeped joint will still keep most of the bulk moisture out of the sill cavity and will prevent bugs from getting in. Either that or a caulk joint with a couple holes in it to let water weep out would be preferable. No caulk at all seems to work well though.
