I like the fact that there is no paint on your festool drill. I’m a trim guy, not a painter, and there is paint on my festool drills. Side note; this channel is super helpful for me to learn things about paint as I need it more and more working for myself. Thank you for your content.

I've had an issue more often than not, where I might be given a room to spray doors, but not have enough room to spray vertically. I saw this product and the only reason I didn't pursue it was potential warping. So thank you for the video showcasing the product, it addressed my concerns about it. I honestly started the video wanting to confirm my skepticism, however I was convinced of it's utility, good video guys. Ill be ordering for the next job I require it.

This product is awesome, I have 49 pairs of these same door deckers, really really awesome for work especially new construction when you have like 30 doors to spray

We have been using these for nearly 20 years here’s a pro tip. Grab some five minute epoxy and stick all those washers to the backside of the decker around that ring and they’ll stay there forever. Makes installing and taking off a lot more efficient.

Paint sticks work also for a little standoff between the door and the Decker, especially on a soft cheap door where the washer will just sink into he door.

Door top is a decorating issue, if visible, but a homeowner could always request that~

Erm Don't buy the Cheapest doors possible? Sawdust does warp... easily... especially so when you neglect to paint their exposed edges

Not for everyone but thousands of painters use them

After 45 years of doing this work I have to disagree painting doors flat is good. Especially smooth dark color. The only time it should be done is if you can't get away from the humidity and fears that paint won't skin over quick enough and sags will follow. Then you have all that surface area of a door to collect the airborne debris. This guy is good but don't get a habit of doing this
