I have this same problem. I tried the cleaner. Only worked for a while. I'm gonna have to replace the whole thing. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE AWESOME VIDEO!!

My Ford Edge...same problem. This method works. For me though it was finding the "sweet spot" with the cleaner. I flooded the whole thing several times with no luck. Then, I pointed the nozzle straight up between the little white switch and the frame. That did it.

Bad ass video Bro, my wife's 2011 is doing the same fucking thing and it's super annoying because at times the some lights stay on. I'm going to try this and see if it works in her front passenger side and if not I'll just end up replacing the damn thing so annoying for a high end vehicle!

Yes, I wasn't able to lock doors because alarm was always going off,

It is. Dealer explained to me that it’ll keep the cabin lights on because it thinks the door is open. Causing a drain on your battery

It is. Mine is doing the same thing. I have to jump my car every day bc the dome lights stay on all night.

Worked for a month or so and then problem returned.
