I would highly recommend the AXKID ONE car seat. Thank you for the videos, we love them!

We still love ours and still using it as well. Our baby is going to be 9 months soon! I’ll be following to see what you guys purchase and review, y’all helped me find the perfect car seat I wanted for our last baby.

Which car seat did you go with after the Doona?

Thanks for the lovely videos. We are investigating on buying a light and functional travel system. Some questions, answers to which you may have from your 17 months experience :): 1. Can we use it for taking the baby on walks in the park/riverside? 2. Can we use this as a Pram?

We used it all the time as a stroller for walks.

We used ours until 28 months of our son, would not buy another, extremely happy with DOONA

I am getting that stroller! TO bad I need to import it from the US, since no one carries it in Norway. So on top of the price, I need to pay 25 % extra in taxes :P Not to mention postage. But because I have a bad arm, this is just perfect for me! Love these videos about it, they are the reason I am getting it! :D

Which car seat did you go with after the Doona?

I feel like it squishes my baby even tho she’s only two months. plus, it has no storage area and only lasts a year. there are seats that have baby to toddler which i think is better

So you can’t like carry it as a regular car seat? Like if I’m in a doctors office waiting room we’re I don’t necessarily need to use the stroller would it be too heavy to carry?

Unless you’re a weightlifter 🏋️‍♀️ it would’ve heavy to carry. You could keep it collapsed and set it on a chair though.

Question: In some countries $500 usd is more equal in terms of income and inflation etc to around $1000 usd. If this Doona was the equivalent to a full months salary , of $1550 usd, would you still consider it or would that make it too expensive? Price: $549.00 + $1,002.78 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to South Africa, and in south africa, it cost around R6000 which for most new parents is one parents full salary for the month or half your salary if you have a good job. So my question is, what is the most you would be willing to pay for this?

We really love our doona but that’s probably way too much. To each their own but one months salary is a lot so matter how much or little that is. :)

Because it’s so heavy should this be our everyday car seat ? You know going over family homes or when bringing baby into our home from the car ?

We used it every day and never had another until he out grew it

How heavy or tall were your son when he outgrows his carseat? I'm very interested but my friends keep telling me that the baby will outgrow it in just 6 months and not be comfortable in it if still being put in a rather small carseat

You can use the Doona up until 12 months according to Doona website. My son is 9 months and we are still using it! It’s worth it in my opinion

Is the car seat adjustable? I mean can we adjust it to lie the baby flat while in it?..

Unfortunately no, you can not recline it.

I would suggest keeping him rear faced in the car as long as possible. I bet he is way older now though :P

What was your next car seat I need help everyone keeps telling me to get the Nuna next and im sad to let go of my Doona since my baby is a year and 2 months now :( lol

I don’t remember his weight but doona says it’s up to 32 inches in length or 35lbs
