FYI to remove the canopy, you just pull real hard. It’s another clip, but you don’t need to unscrew anything! Hope this helps!

Please keep in mind you do have to put the side impact protection head support back in place!! That isn’t optional and is required for baby to be in the Doona car seat (you can find the info in the manual as well)! Only the infant insert can be removed and the shoulder strap cushions but the SIP Head Support must always remain on when baby is strapped in!

Hi is the base plastic? Im woumdetimg if i could use se wadhing powder in war water and scrub it down and let it dry ad a quick clean rather than taking it all apart all the time do you reckon it would be ok? I use to do this with my sons pram

How do you wash the infant insert? It says hand wash… but like is that just wiping it down or just not ok to put in the washing machine

What temp does this go in the washing machine?? Ours says hand wash only but I know that’s not the case!

Not all of them but some of them do. When we selected ours we made sure it was Doona compatible.

The sunshade actually pulls straight up out of the holders for easier cleaning

@@thebongers Thanks, only that my hands pulled out the holders. I watched another video after commenting and saw exactly what you just said. I turned the holder 90 degrees so i wouldn't pull them out, and i was able to pull just the sunshade out of the holders.

We thought about that afterwards. The canopy can actually just fill right out of the doona.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks rolling a stroller through a store parking lot then putting the wheels on the seat is gross. Even with the seat cover, I feel like it would need to be cleaned every time you put the dirty wheels on it.

Understandable. However when they become a toddler and start walking around with shoes are you going to remove their shoes every time you get into the vehicle? Kids love to put their feet all over your vehicle seat and on the back of your seat. The wheels of the stroller don’t actually touch anything in your car but I promise you your child will gladly place their feet/dirty shoes all over your vehicle. LOL

Remember though there is a car base - that Can be wiped as well. Also a car seat cover to prevent stains on your actual cars seats. Believe me lady, I thought the same but, our kids are not going to remove their shoes every time they enter our cars at least mine never did and God knows they step in much worse things on purpose. 🤷‍♀️I wipe my wheels with wipes occasionally if they are clearly dirty dirty.

U don’t have to unscrew shit! The sunshade literally just pulls off I almost unscrewed mines because of this video

Btw mama, the head Insert should stay in the Doona every time used. It should never be taken out!

I would not recommend this car seat/ stroller. It is not user friendly! It is too difficult to remove and reinstall. They need to come up with a better, easier way to clean it. This is ridiculous!
