Remember folks, every Doom wad is canon as per Doom Eternal, including this one. But yeah, thx for accepting that map after all the years of submitting. I'm so glad that you ended up liking it. Not sure when I'll end up doing another map tho. I've got a bunch of ideas written up but I've fallen so hard off the loop in regards to both mapping and midi composing. I do hope to come back on track in some capacity once I can sort out things IRL.

@@decino thx man. The reason why this map has no custom midi is bc I didn't make my first midi until a few months later. If there was one thing I would have changed music-wise, it would be playing the ROTT boss theme as soon as you flip the switch to activate the battle in the final arena. Other than that, Havana Smooth already nailed this map's vibe perfectly.

For anyone unaware, an upper decker is when you lift the lid off the toilet tank and shit directly into it so that every time someone flushes the toilet it gets replaced with poo water no matter what they do and leaves them with a permanently disgusting toilet. It's something that gets done in prisons a lot, as retribution or payback for some slight done against you. As toilets are quite precious in prison you can imagine that it's quite the revenge

I spent about six hours making all the toilets in Dominus flush when interacted with, can confirm.

As a former manger at a restaraunt. I can confirm, guys bathroom would hit a "max" level of bad, but barring vandalism would never get worse. Womens bathroom was a slow crawl into Doom 2016 teritory. The longer you leave it, the more likely a Hell Gate opens. 😈

Many years ago, I worked in a kitchen. One of my least favorite responsibilities was fixing clogs in the customer restrooms. It was always the women’s room. Always. And it was the nastiest. This map brought back some painful memories, so thanks for that Pumpkin Man.

Worked at wal mart when I was a kid. Can confirm about women's bathrooms. I always thought mens were bad but they don't hold a candle to nasty women's bathrooms

From the title, I was expecting a baseball theme, but was pleasantly surprised with toilets instead.

Springing a Cyber AND a trio of freaking arch-viles in a room full of heavies. That's diabolical.

The only ways I could tell this was an amateur map was the perfect symmetry in most rooms and the wide swaths of one single texture. Otherwise, color me surprised! The secrets make sense, the connections between most rooms is easily understood, the fights have clear architecture between use of fast cannon fodder and flyers to give the heavy hitters room and time to mess you up. High quality stuff!

5:43 I really like it when map designers loop a level back to previous places like this. 13:57 I also like how both the rocket launcher and the plasma rifle can be acquired without the secrets (in case you don’t find them or just aren’t looking). 16:48 ooh! Triple kill! 19:28 wow.. you almost died! That mega sphere did exactly what it was supposed to do! 23:30 watch it be the mega sphere. 23:55 looking at the map, I have to wonder if each section is a reflection on the type of bathroom activity you have. The first section is like a nice Number 1: orderly, clean, hit the handle and flush the toilet. The second section is smelly and swampy, like right after having some beans. The third section is after you’ve had too much spicy food and it wrecks your posterior, and the fourth section is when everything is happening all at once and you panic you’re not going to make it. And of course it all ends on a giant commode. 24:18 is that another peephole?

Very nice level. I'm so glad this was made by someone normal like TrialD though, can you imagine if this was made by a Dutch person and the whole thing was based around the abomination that is the poopenshelf? Perish the thought.

I laughed so goddamn hard at that Icon Of Sin face in the wall. It's got the perfect middle distance stare of "Someone is talking to me, and I'm too high to remember a word they're saying." And then I laughed even harder when you shot at one eye, making it wink and drop only it's lower jaw open.

This isn't just a great debut map, it's a great map in general. Has that combat flow, varied visuals and set pieces, a nice MIDI and a sense of humour. Newcomers nowadays have excellent tools at their disposal + the possibility of looking back at 30 years of Doom history. Helps those creative juices a lot.

"So far it seems like a normal level. Lots of toilets, just like the real world." This is the kind of commentary that makes Decino the GOAT.

Man, that map looked awesome I wasn't expecting to take inspiration from a level featuring toilets to this extent, hats off to Triald Cool map and cool video, thank you for making my day better Decino

Hell often stinks, what can I say

This feels like an early HR map. The wibe, the texture usage and the final fight's surprise in particular. The secrets are also greatly made, not something you see quite often if you are the completionist. The fact that this is the first ever made map makes it even more insane.

11:56 Forcing the player to take a blur sphere to make the Manc fight a touch more challenging is beautiful! Too bad the Mancs either had too much room to wander or were a bit too high compared to the player because Decino was able to kill them without having to dodge any fireballs.

Fantastic map! Plenty of health and ammo, scrappy battles, amazing traps and the authors unique touch! I'd say an 8 out of 10!

I like the aesthetics of this map, the pacing, and the way the secrets can be found as well as how the enemies are placed, it's really good for me. I like how the mapper took the female marine skin and changed the skin to resemble corrupted female zombiewoman.

This is such a good map, started with quite amateur-ish look, but later it's fantastic designed. Final fight is evil! (TrialD is also evil haha!) I think it provides decent challenge, you also got red screen gaming one moment

Loved the secrets in this map. It rewards being thorough and attention to detail. I'm not a fan of the maps where the secrets are so obscure as to be almost impossible to find normally.
