If I had to place his character in alignments, he'd be chaotic good. He will destroy heaven and hell if it means innocents are safe. He assaults his commanding officer in retaliation for ordering fire on civilians. He had a pet rabbit who was the most precious and innocent thing he had and will then on fight to preserve innocence everywhere else.
