Lucky Penny Thoughts: This was our first video in the Kracie Mini Food Series. The Donut DIY kit is probably one of the most popular and videoed kits on KZread. This is one of the kits that does require a microwave. I really like to study the back of the package and take my time with these kits. As you will see, I do all of my work on camera and that is what makes our videos longer.
Later!
LPS-Dave

You are welcome and thanks for the kind words, it is much appreciated...
Thanks! I did have fun.. more in this series coming...
Thanks! we wanted everyone to see that it is possible to make them really nice and still have fun...
Thanks. And thanks for watching them :)
We have plans to do more and thanks for noticing!
We are testing this new format for the rest of the sets we have. The others will not take as long, so this was the longest one.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing this with us! And thank you for adding the skiptimes! It's really handy !! :)
Yes and thanks, we mix it up with short videos and maker sets, which we do show the complete process.
Very cool - sleep is important - the videos like this are challenging and scary :) I'm glad this worked out like it did...
We are only using this mat for the Japanese sets. I prefer the white background - it is easier to work on and easier to keep clean :)
loved seeing you get all artsy for this one!! love the popin cookin sets too. so fun to watch, can't wait for more! :D
Never wanted to be anyone else - maybe re-watch their donut video again.
Yes, and they do have a blast..
Have fun! that is the most important part.
I always love watching your videos as its always fun. We get to see the whole process and its not a practiced one so we see your first impressions and how easy/hard you find it to be. I've only watched the beginning so far as its 5am but I will try and watch the whole thing before I drop off!
You eat them. If you do not want to eat them, I kept two on my shelf and they are hard as a rock after 2 months. They are so cool looking.
It basically shows that if I can make a donut any one can.:) We also wanted to show every aspect of the process in the video without all kinds of edits.
Thanks a bunch, it is really appreciated.
We will probably try it next time.
That is cool and thanks! It is really appreciated.
Yes, for sure, we have other kits
Wow you really went all out on the decorating! So cute.
I'm sure you can :) this is more of a complete process with detailed decorating, which does take longer.
I love this Japanese making kits! And I love this channel! The best of two worlds collide! yay!
Thanks! Happy Birthday back on Sept 2
They do like making this set :)
Thanks! it is really appreciated. I learn as I go :)
Luv the new place mat!
Thanks! we appreciate it very much
Yep.. Stuck to the traditional method of making them :) I miss my Long John's!
Yep, it is fun to do, so you can make the kits and have someone else taste them for you :)
wow you are so patient. they look great!
Just based on colors and what the kit made - we did this kit once before, so I had some reference from the first video.
Thanks, it is really appreciated.
I like the fact that he does it for fun not for perfection like the other videos I have seen, please do more :D
Yes, at a local store called Mitsuwa
"don't drip on me, i'm gonna eat you!" such a fun video! thanks for sharing!
We are planning on doing more sets.
We ran this video a little different, so I could set up for each step. It is different then our regular way.
Love all the kit stuff
its Nice when u show us how we do it and the good thing its yummy.
We have a video booth which is normally a white backdrop, but for this video we added a dinner mat. The table itself is a kitchen counter top
Cool... have fun! I did..
We are getting things in motion and focusing on the maker sets now. We had to wrap up some things first. We are good to go now :)
I like them... not a real donut for sue, but still tasty with the frosting.
Yes!
Thanks
Thanks a lot!
The secret of over-editing... who is really making it.... :) It takes 2 minutes just to open it, cut the packaging and laying it all out!
once the tweezers come out, you instantly become a professional
Thanks! much appreciated.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Yes, for sure..
Thank you :)
Just for the Japanese sets and the white powder/white mixing trays. Hard to see. We are keeping it on our other videos. :) The white is easier!
"Little lumps flying everywhere", you had me laughing at that part!
Thanks! we got the set on eBay. :)
We are not here to compare ourselves with another channel - we do things our own way and a lot of research went into this set to be as accurate to the packaging as possible.
I love the way u frosted them I also love all of your videos
Locally we have a Mitsuwa - but they are only in a few states,
Thanks a lot :)
Ok, got you... that clears it up for me.. :)
I really want one of these! They look so yummy!
I did not use it last time and was reprimanded :) so I wanted to make sure that I followed the instructions to a "t" :)
Thanks :)
These are the cutest!
There are different versions of this set. We made sure to follow the directions exactly.
Thanks
We have that set and it is in the plans
For a small maker set yes, are they like a really donut no.
They look really good.
Thanks! I had to redeem myself from the original video and then also show that it can be done - that was my first time decorating a mini donut like that :) No special skills.
Dave you did an amazing job
Yes.
I like the change of scenery :p
Thanks for subbing, really appreciated..
Ohh, I like this updated version better x) much more detailed and clean :)
This was really just to show that anyone, with patience and time can make a killer looking donut... even me... The original video, I was called Sloppy Joe Hands for my poor skills. I was having more fun and just doing what I wanted. This was a combination of having fun and also seeing what can be done. I challenged myself to go one step further... They all got eaten and admired at the same time.
We got it at a local store called Mitsuwa
Amazing!!! My daughter and I love to watch your videos!!!! Keep up the good work
Awesome video the donuts looked amazing
Yes, we had it translated, we thought many people would not know what custard is, so we decided to keep it vanilla.
We do have that one in the channel... Not as long as this one :)
Basically because the tray and mixes are white and we wanted the contrast. We found the set on eBay
I like them
We get sets at Mitsuwa and also on eBay
omg, I got WAY to excited when I saw you did a Kracie kit! XD
Yep, but we did want to show that if you want, you can easily make a fancy one. Look for the original video we made of this where I did things wrong :) and made a long john donut.
We got this at a local store called Mitsuwa.
We have since toned down the white background. The dark one will stay with the Japanese sets.
