I'm enjoying this game so much. Please, consider releasing a Sega Genesis port. This game screams SEGA harder than all the Genesis intros combined!

This is definitely the most "Don't Skipable" game of the year, play it! it's out on all consoles but i think most think it's only on Switch and PC.

This game is amazing. It rekindled my love of the run n gun genre. I bought it on Switch and now I'm waiting for it to release on Steam to buy it again on my PC.

Such a badass game! That intro alone makes it worth it! Smooth gameplay, cool 80's themes, fair difficulty levels, and nice variety!

I picked this up once Don pointed it out like a month ago. Definitely solid Indie, soundtrack alone was a joy

I only heard it when Don spoke about it during Huber Syndrome-if he didn't mention it I and others would've never known about it and it'd be floating about unnoticed. Huntdown is one of the best games of this year no question.

One of the worst parts about Epic buying store exclusivity. So much more traffic on the steam store.

Don is a national treasure

Thankfully EZA has promoted this most hidden of hidden gems. An absolute smash hit of a retro shooter-it's sublime and amazing and this Don't Skip should give Huntdown the attention it sorely deserves. Now if only the community can vote for this on the stream team then we'd be set.

Glad that you guys took community feedback and adapted Don's Hall of Greats presentation into a Don't Skip. Good job, Don!

Love that this is getting some attention, I bought it the day it came out on a whim, and it's absolutely excellent.

This game is fantastic. I bought it at release but just got around to playing it this past month. I love everything about it.

Don has a way with words that is unlike any other I have seen.

One of the best boss fights ever, This game is unique and it's one of my best indie games ever

I just started playing this, 100% worth it. Even better with co-op.

One of the best games i ever played!

I think I took 200 screenshots of this on my Switch haha. Super good game, boss fights are challenging, satisfying, and also hilarious with the voice acting.

This is an underrated masterpiece imo!

Bought it immediately, love it, thank you Don! Would never have heard of it otherwise!

Picked this up last week and I'm absolutely loving it. Great gameplay, killer graphics and music, and an overall awesome vibe make this a blast to play solo or in couch co-op with a friend. Definitely a must play if you are a fan of 80's action movies and run & gun games.

I can't agree more. The game is just absolutely great. I haven't had this much fun dying and retrying in quite some time :) And that music, man, mmmmm, that music.... Just... Just listen to that... say... "Number 1 suspects" boss theme music :) Isn't it awesome ?! ISN'T IT !?!

It's a "DON" Skip

I played this about a year ago. Really good game. It would have been right at home in the arcades in the early-mid 90s or maybe a late Sega Genesis title. The movie inspirations were wonderful and it mostly hit a good balance in difficulty. Although some of the later levels got a little frustrating and tedious. Overall, though, if you want to know what it was like playing great games in the golden age, try this one out. They really did manage to recapture a lot of the magic from back then, or so says this gray bearded gamer.

Had to go back to this video after finally buying it on Switch. It's 50% off there now btw. Easy buy and recommend! Played on co-op with a friend, such a blast!

I love the art style. Gonna grab this now while it's on sale.

Just bought the game on iOS and so far I’m not disappointed. I went in thinking I could just go in guns blazing and breeze thru the game on normal. I was humbled so quickly🤣

You MUST buy the limited run edition of this masterpiece, I did and didn’t regret it at all. You can find one on EBay around 130 dollars but it worth buying.

I picked this up on Epic awhile ago and I fell in LOVE, so much love in fact that I bought a VGA to Component converter to play it on my 9" CRT for that full Retro Cyberpunk experience. This game is almost PERFECT at 4:3.

I knew this game was good from it's start screen. It's every sci-fi 80s film rolled into one and it's soundtrack doesn't disappoint in that regard.

I recommend doing a Don't Skip on The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa.

Had more fun with this game than Cyberpunk 2077

This game looks incredible!! How difficult is it? I would love to play it with my dad, but he has trouble with platformers sometimes. I think he'd love the action and aesthetic. Excellent, work Don!

Difficulty ramps up as you progress but if you're playing with somebody else it should be manageable. It's a brilliant game.

Damm!! I really want to play this but I have already committed myself to 3 new games this month, most notably "13 sentinels: Aegis Rim" (can't wait for 9/22)... But "Huntdown" looks like a lot of love and attention went into its design, and overall it looks like my kind of game... (who doesn't love bad-ass side scrollers)... Next month for sure Don... (I love "don't skip" - Keep em' coming boys!)

Can't wait to play it on a CRT.

It's only $20. But you're waiting for a sale? These are indie devs and this game isn't getting much attention, I'm sure they would appreciate any support you could give them. $20 is a steal for this game.

No one ever mentions the Last Dragon inspiration of the final boss.

Now if just once it was mentioned which platforms this was available on, it would be a great review.

Technology and cyberpunk. You got your peanut butter in my peanut butter. Talk about easy allies. Anyone who likes this should maybe look at Katana Zero or Ion Fury. If you like old school adventure games (seems like a very different thing) maybe technobabylon or gemini rue.

Its pretty different. BroForce is fast and chaotic, this is slightly more methodical....but not too far from Contra. BroForce is awesome though and so is this game.

Critique: needs less discussion of game atmosphere, more focus on combat mechanics, weapons & abilities, upgrade systems...

Is this genuinely the best mic Don could use for this? Surely there is one he could use from the studio, he doesn't have to come into contact with anyone else picking up a mic. It reflects kind of badly on the overall channel in my opinion. The video was very well made otherwise though, Don has a way with words.
