This is what the consumers need. A dev team to take a risk and do something different. Sure you may fall short but when you don’t it’s amazing.

LOVE these Don't Skip videos. I hope the Allies can make more of them, highlighting each of Allies personal taste.

I hope we get more of these in the future, when review season cools off.

I think they can be done at any time. Also, I think review season is a good time to do it, if there are under-the-radar games out at the same time as triple A blockbusters.

I’m a huge Motorstorm fan. Wreckfest comes close to scratching that itch but nothing has truly come as close to what Sony did back in 2006 at the PS3 launch. I love games like this and I encourage more devs to popularize those style of gameplay.

Very Nice. I remember Flatout: Ultimate Carnage very fondly, more over the top than the current wreckfest.

Can't wait for this to come to consoles. First I've heard of this game. There's been a real lack of games like this for a decade. Building the cars back up from scrap is like an expanded version of what we got In Burnout Paradise.

Really glad for the shout on this; I tried wreckfest but didn't find it all that satisfying, whereas this is way more my speed (straight into a tree, then out of the windshield and straight into another tree). 😂 This is why I always loved Don't Skip; there are so many games now so it's easy to miss some gems that I'll love.

I love these types of games, and strangely, I've never heard of Trail Out. Definitely going to buy it.

Now this is the type of racing game I used to love as a kid but brought up to the now.

You forgot to note that this game gets CONSTANT updates, big and small! any discovered issues usually get fixed almost immediately after they're reported and the new content adds to what already felt like a mostly complete game :)

I’d be surprised if some of the developers aren’t formally from Bugbear because the resemblance in art design & overall feel is just too similar to Flatout & Wreckfest. As a long time fan of those games I will most definitely be checking this out.

What’s the difference between this and Wreckfest?

If you like this go back and check out flatout 1 and 2. 1 is a little rally like and 2 is more arcade feel. Ps2 must haves for any race fan. Wreckfest just felt too slow in comparison but one and 2 still hold up. 3 was garbage so I'd avoid that one.

I wrote the same comment. Is it really valuable to be the 100th person to say “Bayonetta is good”? Or worse, “x game you weren’t going to play is bad.” I think I would much rather hear passionate recommendations about what’s actually good.

@@JazGalaxy I like the subjective nature of them, hearing from the individual and not the nebulous "we" of the reviews lingo, and that they are always recommendations. I don't need to be told not to buy something. Take Thief 2014, for example. I think it's a truly superb game, I don't like that people who otherwise would enjoy it haven't played it because of weirdly bad press when it came out. If I was on the team I'd do a "Don't Skip" of Thief 2014.

Well, I was convinced it was from the same developers, or at least some of them... cause it totally looks like the same game.

Bugbear should sue them, this is exactly like Flatout.

It's great you're helping expose this game but why don't you do us all a favour and be a little critical too?... There are ghosting artifacts, huge frame rate drops, LOD pop in and invisible walls that I noticed from your video alone.
