The game is $14 theres easily $14 worth of gameplay here and especially knowing that more content is coming.

I bought it and love it. It's only $14 and it's early access. There's nothing wrong with supporting the creators and letting them know you like the game.

Its worth it to support the devs that have worked on this title for a year. It has 4 devs that's it. Videos like this are dumb

I have to agree to be honest, i'm just over half way through the vid and feel it's a tad harsh (and rather pointless) to compair this game to other fully released titles, when this game has only just released in EA.. Does he not remember that when Tarkov released it had about as much content - and then it developed and grew over time, just as I expect Incursion will do. As for asking how it can justify being released, whats the damn point of early access then?

Exactly! It's Pre-Alpha. One of the earliest of the game development stages. I'm loyal to this project until the end. This will be big one day, plus the Devs actually listen the feedback players give, and actually fix the bugs that we report on it. They are very very good at what they're doing, and I'm loving being along for the ride!

Complains about types of quests. Has pretty much the same loop as tarkov. Place things. Pick things up from somewhere, kill x amount of. This game has more than what eft had when it first came out. It’s called early access.

I don't think you played Tarkov when it came out.

The current game is worth the current $13.59 tag. If it was full-priced, I would agree with you. I’m confident buying into this early access state will accelerate development, I’m sure the developers want the game to increase funding - as does every developer. As someone who has 26 hours in the game already, clearly I really enjoy it. If you’re active on the discord server you can see the devs are extremely active and rolling out hot-fixes constantly. I do think the gameplay loop is barebones, but it’s fun. Most of my time has been playing solo as well but it’s fun with other people. I’m very impressed with how well the game runs as an EA game in UE5 on my system. One note I will make to anyone who is reading this and wanting to pick it up, the devs said in the discord that this version of the current map needs more than 4GB of VRAM, so if you are running a system on an older card you may run into performance issues… it is a UE5 game though.

Everybody should try this game unlike escape from tarkov it's not very expensive and fun with friends

I honestly think comparing it to Tarkov at this stage of development and at this price tag is a bit silly.

You are complaining about a game I paid 14 dollars for? I paid fucking 40 for days before and look what that shit show was. This game is playable and looks fun as hell. I would love if tarkov actually allowed spt to be a part of their game.

Sorry, have to disagree on this one. I play everything that comes out, from AAA garbage to half baked indie garbage and I think Incursion: Red River is really really good because they are absolutely nailing the foundational stuff so well IMO. Right out the gate the immersion and gunplay felt great, the weapons and attachments look amazing and hideout is cool. The AI is not nearly as bad as other games and let's be honest, enemy AI is always always a challenge even if you have a 100 million dollar budget. And let's be real, these days a GD hamburger is $13, so just buy it and support what is going to be an awesome game.

To anyone reading this, just think of this game as early Tarkov without PvP (so only you, your squad, and scavs), then decide if it is worth the price yourself. There isn't much to this game yet, but if you or your buddies prefer PvE and want to try an extraction shooter, then this is a good pick up. Just know it WILL be a while before the next update.

I kept the game because I was able to get it on sale. For a game less than $15, the only way I get disappointed now is if they decide to rug pull this and stop developing the game. I agree however, don't buy the game if you expect a playable game. This is just a demo, and realistically should only be given for free. (Perhaps with less features than this but there isn't enough "gameplay" (IE maps, challenge/quest variety, enemies, etc.) to warrant a price tag.

If you went out with a default load, not custom. You don't keep your loot. Go out with a Custom load and BOOM! you keep the lot.

Played last night, there's a notice telling you if you pick default you get XP I think but keep no loot. So maybe it's fixed now they are letting you know before deploying.​@@dark_brother_hood

It’s absolutely worth it. Loving it and I’m happy to support it since they are giving me the solo experience I want. Tarkov sucks.

The AI issue is easly fixed in the changeable difficulty, as you can litterally have them track you across the map (Nearly.)

EFT started out the same and honestly I don’t think it looked as good

I got this game, installed it, played it and I had TERRIBLE performance issues. My FPS was dogshit having a Ryzen 7 3700X, 16GB Ram and a 2070ti. I requested a refund.
