Donnell FINALLY Confronts Tony Hinchcliffe about his Kill Tony Episode

Donnell Rawlings, according to a comedy fan, shouted at Tony Hinchcliffe while he was performing a set at the Mothership Comedy Club. This was in relation to his Kill Tony episode a couple of years ago where he was roasted by an amateur comic, got upset and left the stage.

well if you remember the whole scenario, donnell was the one who started roasting the comic and going in. The comic very LIGHTLY goes at donnell and donnell has a whole meltdown... its the fact he dished it out first but cant take it. shows a lack of character.

OMG what do you find funny about this guy? He's just looooouuuudd and obnoxious!! On an earlier KT episode, he knew that David Lucas would crucify him on a roast and he "won" the roast by COONSTANTLY yapping and making weird noises and not letting David place a word. There's nothing funny about Donnell other than his face and the fact that he's short.

Many people who aren't accustomed in some kinda talk before the show end up getting upset. Like the Ric Flair episode. It's not because they're sensitive, it's because it's inherently an unnatural environment that comedy created, on the stage of Kill Tony you're expected not to react to possibly very personal attacks as some kind of sick endurance battle, this style of comedy formed not that long ago and is on it's way out.

Everyone know Dave and his show didn't need his little man obnoxious azz there. Dave is the GOAT and Donnell was lucky to be mentioned in the same sentence as Dave. Talking over people so people can not really hear you getting burned by amateur comics does not mean it did not happen. Donnell made himself look really bad on kill tony that episode and a lot of other times as well. As i said he really does think he is a lot funnier than he is. Otherwise he would not still be considered to be riding Dave Chapelles coat tails. Donnell could have been replaced in that show by almost anyone.

I wanted to like him due to the Chappelle show, but he was honestly just not that funny imo. Why does no one really talk about Bill Burr being on and writing for Chapelle show? It’s because like Donnell the Chapelle show did not stand on Bill Burr and unlike Donnell, Bill Burr stands on his own without needing to be credited for the Chappelle show.

I could be wrong, however I don’t think bill burr wrote on the Chappelle show. Pretty sure that just about every episode was written by Chappelle and Brennan, with an assist here and there on a skit from a few of the lads on the show. Certainly I don’t think Donnell wrote anything, and if he did manage to get some input on a sketch it wasn’t significant enough for him to be credited for. Donnell I feel needs to get off that golden Chappelle show teat, he’s latched on to that glorious baby and sucked hard for 20 years or so. Dude let go..

There needs to be a comedian who can't take a joke, as the joke. Like be funny while acting offended. But all we get are ACTUALLY offended comedians acting like Karen's

I think he was going through something because it was consistent for a while, but overall he usually vibes properly when he's a guest. I think whomever schedules stuff with him needs to consider he's willing to just make noise regardless of who he's with - he's very honest in that sense. Tho the last time I saw him, he was rather reserved so it'd be unsurprising were he to try to reel it in . Tho tbf I think that particular "I'm rich, bitch" callback was to both try getting back in the zone and to reference he wasn't just Chapelle's sidekick. It just didn't work how he wanted so he had to bounce

Donnell wasn't joking. - he's only funny if Neal or Chappelle are writing something for him. Unforunately for him, this kind of setting reveals those of weak verbal skils. He probably heard it often, but, even if he didn't, he knows he's not of the caliber that Chappelle and others are, so it eats at him all the time and he's obviously sensitive about it. He just stated that people alwys tell him he wouldn't be anything without Dave. The best part is that he then recites the bs story you know Dave had to tell him every time he got down in the dumps about it, lol, and he fell for it every time.

Donnell is "discount Dave" he even used the "I'm rich bitch" quote unironically. And then he went on to preach to and lecture the audience, as Dave has come to do in recent years on his specials. He should embrace the fact that he's riding on Dave's coattails and own it.

The only person who "ruined" Donnell's life is himself. Literally all he had to do was not ghost the show, LIVE ON THE SHOW. Nobody would remember it if he didn't abruptly leave mid episode.
