“Her passion hits hard, like a bomb dropping.” That’s how we described Donna Missal's blow-your-hair-back DSCVR performances in 2018. Years have passed. Her ‘This Time’ debut now has a sibling in 2020's ‘Lighter’ album, which is, as the name foretells, a bit calmer than its predecessor. Worry not, Missal still knocks out everything in her path, albeit with a bit more finesse. It was a treat to welcome her back to our studios. For “sex is good (but have you tried),” the violet-haired singer essentially turned the place into her bedroom. And her cover of Savage Garden’s “Truly, Madly, Deeply” made stunning use of minimalism and electro-harmonization. Sensual, sexy, enchanting - it was another cool new vibe from an artist who goes all the way with whatever she does.

I adore when artists have the good sense to cover classic hits. I can then use them to gateway people into the awesomeness of your original music and the supreme expressiveness of your art. (eg. Iris) I'm convinced you know how to work a microphone better than anyone. I searched for a female cover of this. So, far the best one I have found. They effects are on your voice SUCK. You don't need them. Keep it raw...and it would sound 100% better.
