Yes, and as an older person myself, the rapid growth of young folks is always astounding. I recall as a child older folks were always commenting on "how much" we had grown. He seems like a loving father who is proud of his children, and rightly so. They are not a scandalous family.

The media is ridiculous, Trump sounds quite proud of his son. I have a tall son and I just realized that I do mention his height quite often, I will say things like "my tall, smart, good looking son" quite often, not because I'm jealous of his height but because as his Mom I'm very proud of my tall, smart, good looking son, he's also very funny and caring.

Barron actually has, thank goodness, those "Slavic" good looks of his mother. I am NO Trump fan, but there wasn't anything weird about what Trumpski said in this video. We all talk about our kids and how they grow ... maybe he's just amazed by how fast and how tall his youngest is growing. The things he says about Barron are basically the most "real" comments I've ever heard him make. Is someone in Melania's family very tall?

Unfortunately, it is worst than that.. I read on a book called In the Mind of a Killer, a mother who tied up her teenage daughter to a tub for several days, with no food or water, after few days later, she and her son took her to the woods and burned her alive, just because her daughter was very beautiful and she hated her. True story. Among humans, you can believe the unbelievable. I am honestly not surprised at all, especially someone like trump who can not stand anybody "better than him", even thought they are millions. He is an extremist narcisist. If we were in the 1600s, I wouldnt be surprised he would had ordered to have his sons head cut off, but in these days you can not get away with murder so easily.

I straight up don’t like Donald Trump but I honestly didn’t see this as newsworthy. Let's say IQ45 is an even 6'. WHY would he be so insecure as to wear shoe lifts? NY license states 6'2". Shoe lifts give maybe 1-1 1/2" and push him forward. 6' isn't short! IQ45 insecure about his own height, regardless.

I'm a father of five boys... I saw no oddity here at all.. it actually sounds that he is very proud of his height.. no competition mode in the least. Even the video clips and quotes of his haters or critics don't hold water. There are parents that tout their children's athletic, or academic skills so much more. Give the man a break! Let's not sensationalize him like the mainstream media and try to psychoanalyze him from how he chews his gum. Stop grasping at straws just to get airplay.

Was his dad a bad father to him? I only heard about how he gave them responsibilities, made them work hands-on laying some bricks; did his father do something bad to his kids? It was Donald who went way predatory with the real estate biz. Maybe his father was a predatory landlord, too: I think Woody Guthrie wrote a protest song about him! But was he a bad Father? Was Trump, for that matter? A bad husband, maybe, but not a bad father.

My son is several inches taller than me. I don't believe I've ever found it necessary to mention it in conversation. I'm more likely to say he's happy, has a job he loves, and that I'm really proud of the young man he's become.

This is ridiculous! Always something to pick on the Trump family. It's quite apparent that both President Trump and Melania are very proud of Barron.

If Barron is 6'8" I can't imagine why Trump would want to be that tall!

Trump is rightly proud of his son's height. That's why he keeps mentioning it. He is a good and caring father who wants to see his son excel in life and his height will be one of Baron's assets. It will help him create an imposing figure in his later adult hood, and Trump is proud of that as any parent should be. Any speculation that Trump resents his own son's height is yet another feeble attempt to trash Trump. The ones who make such remarks really trash themselves.

This is so ridiculous he’s proud of his son, I’m a mom of a very tall 17 year old and he’s taller than his father and we are very proud of him.

I wonder if Mr T tells Barron that he loves him and is proud of him. There are a LOT of parents who dont say that. Please, MrT, start telling Barton today. You'll be glad you did.

He clearly loves his son.

Barron is wonderful and I wish him the best of everything. Intelligent and kind. He will go very far inn life. I just fell badly because all of these trials must have an impact on Barron. Barron is my favorite Trump.

Hey person who wrote a response to be...clearly you are not a Rhodes Scholar...I live close to the Trump's NJ Golf Course. Barron will definitely go far in life in spite of his Father. Barron does well academically and with his height he could be looking at playing college ball. I access students and young people all of the time professionally. You clearly are not a rocket science with little ability to access. Barron since a baby has always been my favorite Trump and yes, I do wish him much success in life.

Trump has always been proud of his kids and sounds it! Baron is a handsome, tall, smart boy and trump has done a great job with ALL his children🎉.

I'm 6' 8"and got really pissed off at everyone always mentioning my height when I was younger, sometimes it was dozens of times a day. Luckily my parents realised so never mentioned it and always concentrated on my other attributes. I have always been grateful for that and bless their memory. I wish Barron all the very best.
