Great no doubt but a lot of note for note Jimmy Shand throughout his playing career no trouble doing that i suppose but i know a lot that did that and it becomes obvious very quickly but i have to say Donal a true Gentleman

Sadly I never had the chance of meeting Donal in person but did manage to have the odd chat online

@@graham1281 Well Graham i did meet him at his Home near Blarney Co Cork spent the entire day with him and played with him a lovely man he was an out and out Jimmy Shand man and the two of them the closest of FRIENDS since the early fifties and Jimmy used to visit Donal at his house and visa versa the only thing Graham in certain tunes in fact a good number of them for my liking it was to close to Shand but that's not to say Donal had many playing qualities himself and vast experience and i often went to see him play and my tribute to Donal is i don't think a nicer man existed. David
