What a lovely video! Being formal in everyday situations is a problem that I've had for a long time... It would be awesome if you could continue to make more videos about this specific topic, Emma. I think many people, like me, can relate to it due to their sole training in academic English.
Many thanks.

Dear Emma, you made a great lesson about the appropriate usge of vocabulary and sentences structure depending on situation where and with whom we talk to. Your examples are precise, so they show clearly the issue. If the formulation and concept of thelesson is yours let me offer you the gold medal and a bunch of red and white roses.

Native English speaker here. I don’t think I have EVER used the word “moreover”. The more I think about it, it sounds really awkward. Get the shivers from it.

Same here. Occasionally I encounter "moreover" in texts, I understand its meaning, but it simply has never occurred to me to actually use it - either while writing or speaking. Besides awkward, I think it also comes across as somewhat antiquated.
Thank you !
Nice topic Emma. I enjoyed watching The video ☺
Great, Emma. I'd like to add "though" to the "informal however". You native use it a lot.

Thank you, Emma! Here's my 3 sentences. (And I DID pause, as soon as you asked for it. 1.: He enjoys his job in advertising. And he's really good at it. (Which of course means, that I'm in a position to judge that. But I could be just a workmate, thinking that he doing a good job.) 2.: We are catiching the bus at 8 am. Care to join us? We'll meet at 7:45. (Since there already is a bunch of people, meeting at 7:45.) 3.: There's an awesome Italian restaurant around the corner. But we also have lots of alternatives nearby. (In case someone is not into italian or whatever cuisine.)
Thank you so much Emma..!! A very interesting lesson...
