I would recomend starting duels with life+3 equiped and swapping to pontiff once you take a hit. It re-activates lloyd and gives you nice amount of bonus hp. Edit: If you have dlc, ethereal oak shield has most stability out of all the blessed shields +It has god tier fashion

It's a very specific situation. Where I understand what they mean...the saw spear is an early get, and isn't super different seeming to one of the starting weapons, so SOME people might not find it interesting in the same way as "my sword becomes a giant hammer" or "whirligig go brrrrr". But the actual weapon is still a ridiculously good one, so it doesn't make sense.

The second I got the dancer's swords in my first playthrough (which was my first playthrough of any of the souls games) i immediately fell in love and beat the game with them and even did some pvp. I didn't win much in pvp, of course, because I was a noob using awful weapons, but I absolutely loved it and they're still among my favorite weapons in gaming. Good memories of when I was too innocent to care about efficiency

Great video as always. Some interesting details I wanna add: 1- neutral L1s have ultra stun and their speed is actually comparable to a ss r1 if you take into consideration when hitboxes are in front of u. 2. The 2h r1 acting the it is was actually a mistake by fromsoft due to being rushed. What they did is they wanted to put second r1 as first r1 cuz it matches the weird movement better for "dancers" but forgot to change the stun data on them. Similar to how they pretty much left the r2 release data for 1h ugs r2 and 2h zwi r2 on astora rolling attacks 1h and 2h respectively. It even had the thrust damage on release of dks3 cuz it literally used r2 release frame data and hitbox data. Same for Harpe 2h r1 😂. Hopefully elden isn't rushed so things like this can be better polished.

Okay but why was that outro so damn nice? Nearly making me tear up over a dark souls video. You too man, you too.

Honestly I love this channel. You did a great job highlighting the weaknesses and misconceptions of the weapon. That being said there is misinformation and missing information in this video. I am not 100% sure on this stuff so excuse my holier than thou as I'm really not. 1. A small thing is that you forgot to include the follower's sabre as a heavy curved sword :c 2. The scaling explanations is a bit lacking. DeX is the best. Strength and Int are nearly equal. That's important considering what build these may go on. Throwing them in the quality weapon pile isn't fair. It's also a Dex/Int weapon. 3. I've gone 15 minutes but no mention of the strengths of this weapon which are unconventional. The weapon has massive stun. When you are sucked into that WA, you must be hit twice to escape it seems. The stunlock potential makes these erm... a good ganking weapon. I've had friends smack away with their biggest weapon or even hilariously trapped someone in the crow talons during it. The other strength it has is: jank. Whips have this too but to a higher degree. The dancer swords hit weird, stun weird, and combo weird. That messes with people. Hell sometimes I get L1 and 2 WA while people are so baffled by how long the damn stun is. Do these swords have more range than the sellswords? It feels like it. That seems important. I might finish the last 5 minutes of this video. Maybe all my critique will be shattered but somehow I think the strengths should've been put out there by now. Again mate I love your channel. I think though this video was not fair to these swords.
