1969 for me (Darren)

The 80's generation of music has yet to be matched. I was so fortunate to have graduated high school in 1980 and able to enjoy this music era as a young adult. 😊 Hearing this music is like a fountain of youth. I feel young again and revived 😊

In my opinion this is one of the BEST songs ever written. As soon as you hear the first few notes of the beginning piano part you know the song. It is vocally challenging. The lyrics speak of hope and not giving up. You can't NOT be uplifted listening to it. The guitar parts are iconic. And Steve Smith's drum part is a cool little groove. As always well performed in Darren's basement hallowed ground.

@@mattyoz0 I bought the album when it came out in 81 on the back of "Whos cryin now" and "Open arms". Dont stop believin hardly charted here in Oz, I hadn't heard it until I played the record as it peaked at 100. At the time I wondered why it wasn't a single here because it was a great song but it was, it just failed to dent the charts as the other two songs did.

Pretty darn good. Usually with Journey covers the guitar is the weak link. Not with this guy, he was spot on. The rest of the band as well.

VERY DIFFICULT TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE EXCEPT YOU CANNOT IMPROVE ON PERFECTION FROM ALL YOU GUYS . YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH I WANT TO BE IN THAT MAGIC CAVE PLAYING ALONG WITH YOU . AHHHH WELL I CAN DREAM , THANK YOU SO MUCH MY FRIENDS 🫡👌👌👌

"Don't Stop Believing" is probably one of the most overplayed songs from Journey, and probably one of the most covered. Guess what? It NEVER gets old! Singit Live's riveting cover illustrates why it has such an enduring appeal. Between Steve Perry's exceptional singing and the unrivaled instrumentation of the band, the song has stood the test of time. Thank you guys for paying a worthy tribute to such a song, which was so emblematic of the best of what the 80s had to offer.

Any Journey song with vocals by Steve Perry has always been a HUGE challenge to match...You did good Tib! The lead guitar work is mighty fine and the harmonies are spot-on. Darren: "Don't stop believing" that your superb talents are not appreciated by many around the globe! A great St. Patrick's Day treat for sure.

The original was from a time when Steve Perry was at the top of his game... That is an incredibly high lead tenor part. After 16 years even Arnel Pineda struggles with this one. Tib made this one look EASY, great approach - not emulating Steve or Arnel, but owning it. And Tzan... Who else could nail this Neal Schon lead guitar part without breaking a sweat (or a string)? It's the master-level performance we've now come to expect from Signit Live. Thanks as always #producernerd. It's a bit far from Texas so I won't make the May concert, but I'll be there in spirit for sure.

A couple of you guys were involved in a cover of this track a few years back which was great.....this cover eclipsed the previous one. The first few taps of the keyboard already had me breaking out in goosebumps, when Tzan lit up that guitar the hairs on my neck were up. Beyond brilliant guys. I am sure Steve Perry and the Journey crew would agree....truly magnificent

Everyone who walks into this studio has chops. However, it wasn't until today that I noticed what a truly talented professional Tzan Niko is. Specifically, his flawless transitions between soloing and vocals. Back and forth. He makes it look easy but it takes a ton of work, experience and God given talent. He really shines on this one.
