In this video I go over my experience at the Maldives Emerald Resort & Spa at the Maldives. This resort is a five star resort and I came here for my honeymoon. I first flew from JFK to Male via Qatar Airways. Emerald Resort team was ready and helped us take the sea plane to the resort and made the process very easy. From there, we were greeted by their staff, it was beautiful. Next, we were introduced to our private butler, Kumar. He helped check us in, grabbed our luggage, logged us in wifi and downloaded the app, and had us tested for covid 19.
Next lets talk about the room. We had the water villa and it was absolutely amazing, better than the pictures. It was a nice sized room with a huge bathroom. The bathroom had floor to ceiling marble and had a refrigerator and drawer filled with snacks that was refilled daily. Exit into the beautiful Indian Ocean was also very easy, you just had to go down the stairs.
I also wanted to go over how excellent their customer service was. 5/5 for me. One time I had to go to the doctor, and it was included in the price btw, and the staff remembered i wasnt feeling well and even asked how I was doing the next day! The staff also allowed us to check out late our last day because we had a late flight. I also go over a few other scenarios in the video.

It was a dream come true and I went on my honeymoon. I go over the cost of this trip and how great it was.

What about tipping at a resort like this? Of course I like to tip, but I'm not sure what is customary. Who gets the tip and how much?
Hey, is the water deep under the water villa with pool? Just wonder will it get really deep moving further out from the beach, thanks so much!

Depends on time of day. After sunrise, the water for us was maybe around 4ft. You can go pretty far and it will still be around that height and it’s a great place to snorkel and see beautiful fish. Throughout the day, I did notice water level rising and going closer to 5.5ft.

I booked a trip in Maldives of 9 nights in Emerald Maldives Resort&Spa for my honeymoon next August, and I was looking for a video as yours so thank you ! Just to notice that I paid 7800$ for the 9 nights excluding Seaplane transfer, maybe it’s due to august period which is cheaper than March ?

10k… got ripped off. Cancun is basically the same, 1/10 the price, and more lively.

@@Inaam1Khan yes i went to maldives in 2019 for my honeymoon. We spent max 3k usd everything at a 5 star villa. We also went to turkey spent 3k total usd with a tour and night cruise every day.
