This! The point is it added the option for increased depth in the system that allows those interested to minmax while those disinterested can olstick to what they know. This is fundamental good design. As for Wickerbottom, Applied Horticulture was unbelievably too strong. 10 plants getting a growth stage for 20 sanity is a very strong trade still, and it lets you focus your yeilds with Applied Silvaculture. This nerf was needed years ago.

I haven't played dont starve in such a long time, but i will say that i live for these animations.

I love how the story went from all these people being dragged to this nightmare place to them coming together to explore and survive as a team. I know everyone says this would be great as a show and honestly I absolutely agree. It’s so charming

The little smile on wormwood at the end of his part was adorable.

I actually like these happy little shorts. A lot of the expressions on the characters in game are very grim, so a change is sort of peaceful. The interactions with each character are also very entertaining.

And so many people together! And this entire update- I can't! Amazing work!

GOD THIS IS ADORABLE!!! i love for characters interacting with eachother and showing off the funky little traits that make them so damn special and this provides that and more!! popped off once again, klei!

The fact they include the talking sound effects. This is why it's a good game.

Wicker is just flexing on all of them, I love it, amazing animation as always

Me at the start: aww they are all interacting with each other! Me at at the end: i knew it was cute to be true

You really outdid yourself with this one klei, this is why we need an animated series!

Like i wont lie i dont play this game much anymore. But it holds a special place in my heart, so seing these animations is such a treat. Yall are a wonderful studio, and everyone there deserves a thank you for all the memories youve made.

Klei does a great job using interments to set the mood and portray emotions.

Depends on the animation but basically a few days before an update goes out we're already working on the next one usually. 4-6 weeks ish depending on the complexity / length and how many of our artists are available.

@@kleient Sounds like a big problem A lot of people say you should make a series, yet here is the big deal Companys do sometimes, yet we see how they "ruin it" by making mediocre animation or cutting stuff off If you guys where to do it, you would need to have some staff member oversee it at least

This short is so adorable! I love the new farming mechanics and all the little extra updates (especially to Wormwood). And the farming music is great. Good job, Klei! Take your well-deserved break, have some happy Winter's Feast days (😉) and stay healthy!

This is fantastic!! Characters that don’t get much screen time like Woodie and Warly are there! And the animation! It’s changed quite a bit recently! I love how it is now, so much more colorful!! THE CHARACTER INTERACTION!!!!! I’ve been wanting to know who gets along with who, who hates who, etc for so long! And these animations give us little glimpses into their friendships! Seeing them all together makes me very happy!

Amazing animation, I think this one has the most amount of DST characters in it by far, love these animations a lot!

Man, this is very good! And my favorite is the music, and how it works perfectly in the trailer. Good job Klei!

I think the reason Maxwell and Wortox aren't present is because of how much they tie to the lore. Their new quotes on the lunar stuff both indicate they understand/know what's going on, and will happen. For Wurt, idk, probably busy with Merms. She LOVES vegetables, though, no clue why she wouldn't be here!

Everyone is HERE! (except Maxwell but we can forget about him) This short was so cute, props to having to animate these scenes with so many characters haha!

I think wortox is hunting souls and wurt is well in the swamp and about maxwell this prob takes place before we was freeed

I must say, I absolutely adore this game more than I can express. Everything about it just makes me happy. But the thing that stands out? The characters... you guys did a fantastic job creating such an amazing cast of characters. I envy you guys so much, as a writer myself. One thing that hooks me is the details of the characters, well done Klei - you have a fan outta me.
