nekokat They are called slurpers, they spawn in the wilds and are aggressive to you, they will leap at you and if they touch you go on your head meaning that any hat you’re wearing will come off. It can be really Annoying if you’re wearing a mine helm for light or something like a football helm and you’re fighting something else. If you kill them they drop what is basically slurper fur which can be used to make a belt of hunger which makes you not as hungry but lose sanity, honestly unless you really want the belt don’t fight them, they are annoying and since they live in the wilds there is a good chance that those and the splemonkeys will kill you.

This looks so cool!

The top hat machine is a prestihatitator, magic is now split into two tiers (same as science with the science machine and alchemy engine) with the prestihatitator being tier 1 and the shadow manipulator being tier 2. The triangle thing is a teleport focus, you can teleport to it using the telelocator staff but it will consume the gems when you do so.

The prestihatitator is like a magic alchemy engine. It does everything the science machine can do, and MORE!

By guess, I think the rhino's name is Clockwork Rook, based off of the rook. It's strong look and straight line move is pretty similar to it's counterpart in chess.

For anyone interested, the official name of the new face hugger-type monster is called the 'Slurper'. Personally I think it's the most Godsdamn adorable thing they've put into the game in quite a long time.

Actually it's an orange gem that picks up things and now there is 2 magic machines and 2 science machines you make the first one from a normal science machine.

I don't see any secrets, but in the wiki it talks of the ruins update so I know that there will be some there.

Finally, they released the Rook, and I also see that they took a suggestion made a while back about a mob that saps your hunger over time.

I may be wrong, but I think they aren't dissapearing, he's picking them, I'm telling that because of the sound it makes.

If you don't have a chest you could store stuff on the ground. Or maybe there was like a ghost who took the items.

they started working on the lava pits in this update but i think the next update might have the lava pits :D

I think this is like willson was teleported to a different age with ents and myth creatures and ents are tree gaurds or whatever if you didn't know and merms are mermen for some reason

It seems to me like the items don't disappear; rather, they're auto-collected with whatever amulet Wilson's wearin' in that part.

Ok, I figured it out after some testing. It seems its just a amulet that picks up stuff for you so you dont have to do it. Thats why Wilson has that... Thing around his neck.
