Bery, thank you for sharing information. I have a question. Is metro M11 from Havalimani IST airport to Gayrettepe already in use? We will come to Istanbul at the end of May this year and we will land at Havalimani. We want to take metro M11 to Gayretteppe and then change to M2 towards Yenikapi. And from there again with Marmaray TCDD towards Maltepe. Thanks in advance.
@BeryIstanbulTips

Hi! Unfortunately is not working yet, it light be soon since works are still going on. Whenever we have news that it finally started operating, for sure we’ll let you all know 🙏 But you can get the havaist to Kadikoy, in Kadikoy, depending where the area is, you can take the metro line Kadikoy-Tavsantepe (it also passes thru Maltepe) or if your area is closer to the sea side, then take the Marmaray from Ayrilik Çesmesi metro station which is one after kadikoy station.

@@BeryIstanbulTips Bery thank you for response. Our place to stay is close to metro Maltepe. Exactly 500 meters according to google maps. If tramline M11 is not ready in time we will take bus Havaist to Kadikoy and from there Ayrilik Çesmesi as you suggest towards Maltepe. This is the best option I think. We have already been to Istanbul in the European side last October. We liked it. So we would like to visit Asian side as well. We have Istanbul card So it will be a little easier to get around with public transport. Should metro M11 be ready on time, we will be happy if you let us know. Thanks in advance.
For Istanbul the turist pass have also guide tur?It is also include the public transport?
Hi Bery, how to buy e-ticket for the museum pass turkey? Tks
Hiii! I wanted to ask you if buses that travel (example) from Capadocia-Denizli or Denizli-Istanbul are save (no thefts) and reliable(will make it on time)… and how to buy tickets
@BeryIstanbulTips
2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I have traveled a lot within 🇹🇷 by bus and long distances, is totally safe, the roads are great and no thefts on the roads or anything like that, in Turkey, you don’t need to worry about that. I’d suggest checking Kamil Koç company (now Flix Bus company took it but the service remains the same) is the one that I used for years here specially long distance trips, also Nevşehir Seyahat, with that one I traveled the first time from Ist-Cappadocia and was great! Also I travelled to Pamukkale some years ago by bus from Istanbul and everything was fine too. I traveled with Pammukale Turizm bus company. The buses are on time, I have never experienced being late on a bus tbh. You can check the tickets from their official websites, they light be in Turkish, check if they have Eng version, if not, use a translator: www.pamukkale.com.tr (Pamukkale) www.nevsehirseyahat.com.tr (Cappadocia) www.flixbus.com.tr (Kamil Koç)

@@BeryIstanbulTips I thought it wasn't open to the public since the palace as most of us know serves as the state guest house of the Turkish government which is used as an official residence for visiting foreign dignitaries. Perhaps I think it's only open to the public when not in use by VIPs.
Hi Bery - I am traveling to Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya & Pamukkale. Which pass will be suitable for me? I also see the prices of Turkey Museum pass going to 1000tl, which is very expensive. I just want to know if it will be useful for me.

Жыл бұрын
Hi!! If you are planning on visiting the archeological sites, and museums on all of those cities then get the Museum Pass Türkiye, that covers in all of the country. It seems a lot. But you’ll save tons of money at the end because now every ticket in the main attractions are kind of high, so having that one will allow you to visit as many museums as you please: In Pamukkale: Travertines, Hierapolis and Laodicea. In Cappadocia: Ihlara Valley, Goreme Open Air museum, Zelve, Pasabagi, underground city (Kaymakli and Derinkuyu) and many other places. Istanbul: Galata Tower, Topkapi Palace and its harem, Hagia Irene, Archeological museums behind Hagia Sophia and a fe others. In Antalya is valid in every archeological site you visit and other museums like archeological museum in Antalya Merkez. If you think about it: Only topkapi, harem and galata tower already sum 610 TL per person. Hierapolis and Pamukkale together are 200 TL. CAPPADOCIA: Goreme open Air museum is 150 Just those make already 1000 TL, but in Cappadocia you’ll use it a lot and each entrance costs a minimum of 100-200 TL per person.
Hi Berry, we are play for a trip to turkey from oct14 from India. Wanted to know a bit more on museum pass, how much it's costing now for turkey musium pass ? Also wanted to know if you can let us know on hot air balloon ride cost in capadocia. To he reason I asked is there are variety of prices we get from many videos, but wanted to know how much we can expect in oct..and if any reference..
@BeryIstanbulTips
Жыл бұрын
Hi! This is the official website where you can check the current cost for each museum pass: muze.gov.tr/MuseumPass About the hot air balloons, well, you see different prices shared on videos because the prices differ on the season (high/low), in my case I paid last year only 60 usd but because it was covid times so the tourism was so low that they where almost giving away the balloon rides. But now they are no less than 150 usd per person. Expect to even pay up to 300 usd per person. Hope this helps!
