YO!!! I just started doing music, it's been 1 year and this video motivates me a lot and I think it will help me to progress more and more. I'm just making my MIDI KIT and I wanted to ask you how much could I sell it for, I'm planning on having about 100-150 MIDI files.

For any content and social media uploads I'm not at the quality and speed I'd like to be. And have a lot to learn with mixing wise and work flow mostly. I've grown a ton in the last 3 years although not consistent with with work It's a step forward ig. Still working on being good.

when u sell a melody pack and a big song is made with a melody from the kit, do u have to delete the pack from your store? or take the melody that got placed out of the kit? or do u keep selling the kit after a mel gets placed

I mean the advice there would be more along the lines of keep producing until you have a recognizable and marketable sound, get placements with big artists, and keep building your reputation in the industry as a producer.

You have to think at some point. Are you trying to sell content / music to other producers or to actual artists? I feel all of these videos and short form content are for the former not the latter. It’s an interesting approach clearly has worked here

whatever it is, if my products or beats are not good enough, I won’t be sold. Or myself need to be famous first.

I really hate that you nowadays have to be a content creator much more than a musician to make it if you not living in a major music city. I don’t wanna make stupid shorts or KZread videos or anything like that, I want to make music as much as possible and get it out to the people to enjoy but nooooo upload 462836 shorts every day so the algorithm catches you 🤦🏻‍♂️ I guess I’ll be doing music for myself then, f*ck it…

@@untilco yeah okay you got a point there, it's good that we got the option now, many ppls lifes got changed because of that internet shit, I get that. But as I said, it feels like you have to do content nowadays to at least stand a chance and I mean I for myself could do it, if I just look at it as a necesity but then I'd feel like "selling my soul" to a degree and honestly don't think it'd fullfill me in the long run. So theres like 95% of the opportunities out the window instantly and idk if the remaining 5% are the same amount as the 100% from the old times you spoke about.

I just upload type beats for fun. Getting into tv/film sync licensing. I had a decent run selling beats from 2018-2020 then got very bored with it. I'm 35 and have noticed how fickle and deceptive most of these younger rappers are these days. When they have too many options, they act like they're god and they're doing us a favor using our beats when the reality is that they aren't sh1t without us. @@roninthegoat2810
