Don't Remove Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers of PS5 Dualsense

Ойындар

2 of the 3 most important and unique features of the DualSense controller is the adaptive triggers used in almost all Sony first party games and the haptic feedback which ads a layer of immersion to games. If you are using the controller on PC only or playing PS4 games on the PS5, then this topic is no big deal.

    In this video I said the only controller I had tested on PS5 you could remove all the paddles was the Aim, however the Scuf Reflex I tested also has removable paddles.

    Just keep a regular controller, or another custom/modded/pro controller with rumbles for different play styles. One for shooter’s like cod where you don’t care about the rumbles or haptic feedback, and one for games you want it for

    In Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart you can change the haptics to your liking. I left some haptic feedback on, but turned the adaptive triggers off, and it plays fine. Was this not an option upon release or am I missing out by not keeping adaptive triggers on?

    Hello, I’ve been binge watching your videos and have a question. Between Battle Beavers and Evil Gaming which would have the best response time when overclocked? Are they both stock Xbox controllers?

  • @ironyofsarcasm4971

    @ironyofsarcasm4971

    Unfortunately, xbox controllers have a limit on overclock, they can’t go to 1000 like ps5 controllers. They’re capped at 250 even if the program you overclocked it says otherwise. You can test it with any xbox controller, tests were made about them and it caps at 250hz. Also, only works on pc with a ps5 controller or kbm. For your question, my opinion about it, battle beavers are really satisfying, you have 4-5 options on back paddle(PER SIDE) depending on how you feel comfortable. They put little buttons smaller than your fingers and they’re amazing, you can even remove them if not needed. What I love the most is that you can get Really Tight joysticks, tight, Normal, loose, or really loose from the start. I started with the tight one on my right joystick only for FPS games, but I recommend the tightest one, you’ll get use to it in no time and won’t ever want something else. Us at battle beavers think…(just kidding I just loved mine, I was a long time scuf user and unfortunately for them, won’t go back) Enjoy buddy 🤜🏻🤛🏻

    I was pretty stoked when it was new and liked it at first. But honestly the adaptive triggers are pretty overrated imo. Often its just a bunch of tension that can get tiresome. Rift Apart used it nicely, but you can do without just fine, and yes its optional by now. The rumble haptics are great though. Thats why I like to keep the motors.

    why would people even want clicky/tactile trigger switches? the point of them is to be smooth and analog... also I've never had an issue with battery life on any of my controllers, I play tons of games but I don't know how you could play games for so long that you neeeeeeed 50 hours of battery life with no charging breaks

    On fps games like cod, it's better to have a fast click rather than a slower smoother pull. It allows you to spam the trigger to fire semi auto weapons a lot easier.

    A controller does not make you better in fact it does not make an average person great. You will be average. What actually works is a fast monitor with 120hz plus and a premium gaming mouse. But it will not make you great if you are average. 😁
