When my stroke goes to Timmyville, break out the slip stroke. Cleans up all sorts of bad habits. Will definitely cure jab strokeitis. Glad to hear you are getting back on track. Keep those videos comin!

I'll try that next time. I do use a slip stroke once in a while (I'm not great with it though)

Funny how it works. I have been in a "pool fog" for going on day 4 now. Can not make even the easiest cut shots. It is crazy, but it is a part of being human. I know tho, it will get better, but like you said, in the meantime I question my love of the sport. Just gotta keep up the grind, tomorrow is another day.

I 100% agree that I seem to get good rolls when my stroke is on point and get crap shape when I'm off. Makes for a long night of practice when I'm stroking poorly.

I was shooting really bad last night and every time I thought I would clear the table I would scratch the cue ball. It was frustrating and the other guy kept on pocketing balls out of nowhere (APA rules).

Had to recover my table due to a hole worn through from breaking, the rest of the surface was good for at least another year. I use a break patch now.

i tend to get lucky rolls all the time, to the point that I tell people that you gotta know how to miss too lol....at the same time, when I'm not comfortable with my shooting ability during a match, I'll take safer shots that will leave the cue in a harder spot for the opponent if i miss... two way shots if you will.

1st of all sorry to hear about Charlie passing! That's rough! Secondly if I order a short rail shirt can you put MTSS on the back? I have given myself that nickname to remind myself to Make The Shot Stupid!! Lmao! I have a really bad habit of making great shape on next shot but missing the original shot. So frustrating! The shirts are made with screen printing. In order to customize them, a new screen would have to be made (printer charges about $30 for making a screen). If you know someone with a cricut machine, you could add it with that. Thanks for the condolences about Charlie.. he was a sweet dog! I def miss him
