The meal situated between the Pork / Moo & the Oysters looked absolutely delicious!!!

The harbour view is stunning, worth going up the hill for just that.

I remember renting a previous iteration of the Honda 400-4 when I was in Pattaya in year 2000, it was a good bike.

"This lady's selling oysters..." Haha! You got me there, Loucous! Was hard to focus on the oysters!!

A friend of mine bought a special toyota van made in japan. The price was incredibly low at 1 million bhat for the new vehicle. He told me that Thailand allowed the vehicle to be sold without an import duty because it can hold 12 passengers. So ehow it was not considered a regular passenger vehicle. The gov of Thailand is now in court with Toyota to change this allowance. The upshot is that Thailand wants to impose a 300 percent import duty on the vehicle as per him and he is Thai. It is good that Thailand protects its vehicle industry. If the USA did the same then maybe the country would not be gutted in the name of free trade. Thanks for the video.

Yes, I think overall they do a good job managing imports and exports

The first 400-4 was shown in Germany in about 1975, with just two valves per cylinder it wasn't very inspiring and only lasted until 1978 or so. The 500-4 was also around the very early 70s, but the nimble Yamaha 350 exceeded it in unmodified form. Much later came the Suzuki 250-4 Across, that was fun. Are you sure its not the Honda Giardia, comes with an itch 555

looks like some great food on offer! the view and sunset shots were really pretty. That heat wave has got to be rough. I wonder if I'll be able to acclimate to the heat. Indiana summers are pretty hot and fairly humid, but this might be next level lol. How's your house hunting been going? Sorry I missed the Live Stream. Mom has been put on hospice care and my schedule is a bit out of kilter and I missed the stream!

the honda 400 is to be exported overseas as it has been approved as a learner, probationary bike in Australia and NZ . but it is not listed for sale yet

4:45 That white Gold Wing sitting on the floor at the Honda dealership looks like the same one I saw when I was last there in March. I was wondering who would want a bike like that Thailand and it was priced higher than here in the USA. I personally don't rate the CB400 very highly because I once road a friend's old CB350 Four from the 70's and while it was very smooth it was also rather slow.

Yeah, I don't think they sell many Gold Wings but there are entire clubs here that ride them so they are around, just a bit on the rare side.

Yep, Honda just did the 350/4 because they could. The 2 cylinder CB350 was faster but Honda just wanted to flex their muscles.

Making my mouth water there Lucas! My first bike was a Suzuki GS400. Great little bike with plenty of zip and easy to handle. A very good starter size. If I remember right it was a 6 speed so it ran well and breathed easily on the highway. I will have to go to a local dealer here and see if Honda has any plan to ship that 400 into the US. That would be a nice addition for running around town and short trips. Thanks as always for the video and say hello to Lan for me.

I love the looks of that 400. I had a CB650 I loved it. It was so comfortable well-balanced and snappy with the four carbs. If it was available would it be one of your first choices to test ride?? Thanks for the video Lucas, lots of love from the US brother

I adored that Honda Giorno+ Donald Duck. But like any special limited-edition model products I just couldn't stand to see something this adorable got dirty or thrash and dash around in traffic let alone using them like most 125cc scooter would or treated here in Thailand. If I have more money than sense, I'll buy two of them and put one of them on display garage keep it pristine. Oh well at least it won't ever get dirty or damaged if I just virtual window shopping it online.

Not a bad ride for the price, the only thing with GPX is the resale value, but if you plan on keeping it a long time then probably ok.

Had a 1979 CB750K with a 6.2 gallon tank. Heavy bike but it was very comfortable and all the girls wanted a ride! Miss riding but people in Texas drive like idiots. Can’t imagine riding through the chaos of Thailand. Stay safe!
