Can you address the differences in UI between models and even brands in the future? I feel like my 12yr old Samsung LED had better controls, less stuff grayed out (as if it's only for top end models), and actually allowed me to tweak settings per input or similar. I finally just got an OLED (Samsung S90CD - D cuz it's Costco) and it's great in most ways but it's also eye-searingly bright at times and it keeps changing its own brightness and other settings. Example, there's lots of modes or settings that seem to do nothing at all: "picture mode = optimized" vs "eye comfort" not only does nothing, what is it optimized for? Color tone - always gray Picture clarity - 3 settings with 0 change? Game mode just seems to be ultra obnoxious and turns off a bunch of other settings while it ramps gamma and brightness. Picture setup seems to be the only place to make tweaks but it's basic and seems to reset at times? Sidenote: why is this brand new TVs storage already almost maxed out with tons of apps we can't delete? Why would I want tiktok, Chinese spyware, on my TV? Why do I HAVE to keep Apple TV, Alexa, sling etc? I could go on but I feel like no one is talking about the actual usefulness of the software side of TVs.

Looks like the promo code doesn't work anymore worked with the 65" C3 and brought it down to $1225 in cart but when I went to check out the cart, the price went up and LG site was saying the promo code HECA03997 was no longer valid.

I just picked up the LG C3 55" in the UK for £900, including a 5-year warranty. This is almost half the original selling price. It's also my first OLED and it's an outstanding TV.

This is similar to the LG backed discounts that ended on the 16 June in the UK. These were available at retailers not just on LG direct. Having had to return my C3 for panel failure i declined a replacement. The banding and pink hue were not acceptable to me. Good luck finding one instock, i would try your local stores, you may need them if you are unlucky like i was and get a bad sample.

I picked up the 77” C3 from Video Only in Portland yesterday for $1799. They had a few left on stock as of last night.

I have the 55" Q750 since January. It's a wonderful set except for one thing. The ghosting while playing games with VRR enabled on PS5 & Series X. I'm going to be replacing it already which really bums me out because it's got no other faults. I had a C1 OLED 48" when it first came out and loved it so I'm getting a C4 this week. Q7 is amazing I hope you enjoy it.

The 77 G3 does have MLA Its the 83 that does not

I bought a 77in G3 a few weeks ago at Best Buy for $2279 with the stand... it has MLA the 83in does not. The 83in was $3279 and the 55/65 were not on clearance

Hey thanks for the videos… I have the 65” C1 do you think it’s worth it to upgrade to the C3 or just keep the C1? I moved house and now get more light in. I can just close the curtains that shine in the TV but you know it’s sometimes nice not to. (When the curtains are closed I have another window that lets light through that doesn’t ruin the image and still lets light in).

Following up B-series vs. C-series processing comment - will it matter if I use AppleTV (box) for streaming and never use TV's smart features (streaming apps)?

Codes are working! Snagged a 77in G4 for $3929 after tax. Compared to the camelcamelcamel history of the G3 that's bigger than the discount that as was offered around Black Friday last year (lowest recorded was $3996 on the G3 and that's *before* tax). Thought I was going to have to wait until Oct/Nov to score a deal this great on the G4. Thanks so much! Keep up the great work DT team!

This would have made the G3 @ 65” price closer to my budget. However I ended up getting the Samsung S90C 65” direct from Samsung for $1349.00. Plus they added a 2 year warranty at no charge. Sorry LG, too late 😊😊

Good Luck finding any of these. Within minutes of this video being posted I spent a little time at LG WEBSITE.I went to LG and decided I would buy one of these. 77" C3 83" C3 77" G3 83" G3 None were available. Either sold out or they had not put them up for sale yet. It seems they accomplished what they set out to do, which must have been to clear last years inventory. I will have to wait... I am not going to pay $6300 for an 83" G4.

My husband and I just got an insane deal on the 77 C3 at Video Only in Bellevue, Washington. I think they have a few stores on the west coast. I would definitely check them out. Always great to support a local business still specializing in tech!

C3 65 and 77 are gone, snd BB won't match the discount code, but they do have same base price. Sounds like this was purely an LG warehouse clearance deal.

I just got a 83” G4 for $6242 AUD with a s40t sound bar. RRP is $10,000AUD on the TV alone.

I would be very tempted to buy a 77" OLED if it wouldn't be replacing an 82" TV. I have an 82" Samsung QLED in my living room and an 82" regular Samsung TV in my bedroom. I've never really noticed much of a difference in picture between those TVs. Both seem great to me. I might notice a difference if I had them side by side, but they are a little bulky to move to the same room just to satisfy my curiosity. If I end up upgrading one of my TVs, it would be to get a larger screen. While I am unlikely to spend $20,000 on a 115" TV, TCL has much more reasonable 98" models. TVs have come pretty far since I was a kid, and my family had one 19" TV. I still remember how huge the new 25" model my Dad bought seemed. If my Dad wasn't already there, he would be in heaven if he had such a large TV.

Totally agree, spend a little extra for the C. Unless you have never had an oled, then any oled will blow u away

I saw a video comparison that showed the C4 losing badly against the S90D. Should i pick a tv based on those comparisons?

You could find others where the s90 gets destroyed by the C4. Go to RTINGS and pick the one that meets your needs

Love you to death but the 77 inch does have MLA

For what it's worth: my experience ordering directly from LG a few months ago was very negative. Their customer support is confused and unhelpful. Especially if you are including installation in the deal, make sure to call LG and insist on getting the direct phone number for their local delivery/installation contractor.

These are not great deals. The real deals were what the LG Partner Program had back in May they were discounting the brand-new LG G4 and C4 at low prices. I picked up an 83"G4 on that sale for 3000 less than the list price.

To feel comfortable enough to wear a simple cotton-spandex t-shirt while filming for millions of people in a studio... How freeing.
