Don't Miss Out: Limited Stock of the Mondaine Helvetica Watch
I have been dumpster diver in British retail store TK Maxx. For those of you who don’t know, T K Maxx is British store that specialsies in design brands from clothing, t home décor and even jewellery.
Every so often you see a decent watch or too, and this week I found 3 watches at a crazy discount that I had to inspect further. 2 of them were Luminox but other watches where dead and need the battery changed - and without the hope of further discounts I resigned myself into the leaving the store until I laid my eyes on this watch from swiss heritage railway brand Mondaine!

Regarding the movement, build and strap I think you have made a really good bargain. The case design including the lugs, the thinness and the colour of the dial are also positives. I would have bought it as well for such a price, although I am more of a dive watch fan and in general I like to have at least one of the following three on a watch: applied indices / substantial watch hands / a touch of color. The dressiest watches I bought (all under or well under 1000 €) are a Tissot Heritage Petite Seconde, a chronograph from Knot and a Seiko Presage SRPB41 with a blue dial.

Me too definitely more of a tool watch sort of guy! Some great choice for under a £1,000 I’ll keep an eye out for them. 😎
I also picked this up from TKM. The mov't in mine says 19 jewels so my money's on it being a sw210?

I thought so too, but I couldn’t find any info on it aside from 1 article which implied it was an ETA but they could be wrong. I would fully believe it could be an SW210. Either way I still think it’s a bargain!

@@AwkwardHorology I've also got one from TK Maxx last year for £200 and can confirm the movement is an SW210.
BS I bought one of these devices with the signal booster. The antenna does not pick up a signal. I will return the devise.

Yes I think it was a good one, but I’ll be honest I flipped this watch along with others to find my Omega Aqua Terra purchase! 🤭🤫😅
