Saw it tonight. Even though I live close to NYC and the light pollution prevents visibility of most celestial bodies at night, I was struck by how bright these two "stars" were in the southwestern sky. But then I thought that they seemed too bright to be stars, so I did a little online searching and there are indeed Jupiter and Venus. No wonder why KZread recommended this video.

I live in London and to see stars is very rare but I have never in my life seen anything this bright in the night sky. I was completely mesmerized by them, it felt powerful just looking at them. Now that I know its Jupiter and Venus it all makes sense. What a beautiful universe we live in.

Look niemal, IF moon reflect sun, so wenus and jupiter are reflect sun so they can not be visible lukę stars, because moon also rise like star light. Stars are angels in heaven, they travel at speed od light

I used to stare into the stars in the night sky while on LSD and Mushrooms back in the day. Made me feel realize how big the universe. “I’m just a tiny human in a giant galaxy” I said out loud one time while tripping looking at the stars

I'm in Tuscany and I'm watching them right now. During the conjunction of 03/01, I was paralyzed and speechless before such beauty. An immense feeling of peace surrounded my soul. Tonight, even if there is no more conjunction, the power of these 2 luminous bodies put together has an effect on me that I cannot explain. I only feel a feeling of bliss, well-being and gratitude (feeling that I don't understand at all) to the point of crying again. One of the best experiences of my life.

Saw them close together on Wednesday evening in Manchester UK. I knew one was Venus but didn't realise the other was Jupiter. I called my partner outside and we spent awhile wondering what was happening. Rare and beautiful sight. We could also pick out Orion's belt because the sky was so clear.

Both the planets Jupiter & Venus are beneficial according to astrology.

Saw this before nightfall, before any stars were visible and it really stands out. Actually startled me for a moment and I knew it wasn’t something you see every day. Then I googled and learned what it was. Very cool.

I'm from a northern part of Thailand. I saw the Moon, Venus and Jupiter lie perfectly straight up so beautiful. I didn't know which stars they two were now I know. Thank you.

I have been noticing this for several weeks. This is just incredible.

I watched it !!. I was randomly looking at the sky and i saw two really bright spots. I thought that this was jupiter and saturn. I pulled up my sky map and was blown away that i saw the brightest plant in the night sky, VENUS !!

I am loving it...February was a real showdown in the night at sun down......seeing these two beauties being so close together(from earth that is) the other day simply was amazing

I am observing them for past 2 weeks, and i was stunned by there closeness day by day.

Yeah! I have notice it from 2 to 3 days these both are in parallel and the Moon is perpendicular to line joining these two ones.

I happened to see this event. It snowed in our city with huge snowflakes up to 2" across for about 15 minutes, almost a blizzard. This never happens here and rarely does the temperature get down past 32°F. It was awesome and bizarre.

I am in Germany and have been watching ( while walking the dogs!) these two for a number of weeks now...beautiful clear skies.. they have getting closer and closer over the days...FASCINATING...

I had no idea this was a big deal. I always enjoy looking up at the starry sky, and I noticed these 2 objects moving closer each night. I pointed it out to my wife, and she was like "Yeah, people on Facebook are saying it's Venus and Jupiter." I thought that was pretty cool

So any vehicle traveling at 100 kmph in the east direction for covering 100 km distance should take a longer time than covering the same distance in the westward direction at the same speed. Because earth spins from west to east, so while traveling west, the destination comes to you at 1600 kmph speed. So you should reach the 100 km westward destination much quicker. But in reality it takes exactly 1 hour to reach 100 km destination at 100kmph speed in both directions. This clearly scientifically proves that the earth is NOT spinning. CHECKMATE. Accept the flat reality, you won't regret.

I have seen that at the 1st March, I used my Constellation Map application and I found out that they are Jupiter and Venus close to each other and it was surprising for me. Now I know it's worldwide known event and predicted conjunction

I’ve been seeing this for the past 5-6 evenings starting at dusk in Cologne, Germany. Amazing and so bright!

2 days ago, I was asking my mum on twilight, "Are those stars - they look weird - they look oval." Both "stars" were oval discs, so I thought my eyes were playing up, but mum said they were indeed oval.

I noticed Jupiter and Venus close together just the other evening, but I had no idea how significant this conjunction was. I'm definitely looking forward to the conjunction of Mars, Venus, and Moon. And don't forget, on April 8, 2024, there will be a total solar eclipse passing over Dallas and Little Rock, I believe around 11am central. I'm planning on being there even if I have to crawl there. I just hope the weather holds.

Glen you did me a solid by sharing when the next lunar eclipse occurs!... was going to search it up myself but I'm actually trying to figure out the relationship between neutrinos, antineutrinos, and if they attract or repel "Aliens" ...... seems I need to focus harder on solving since I have bout a year left

I noticed this while i was at work,thought it was just two bright stars and i showed my colleague ,I'm a person that likes looking at stars and try to see if i wont spot any satellite, but the following night i noticed these stars were no longer vertical but horizontally next to each other and i again showed my colleague, cant wait to go to work tomorrow and show my colleague this

Fact: when venus appears after dawn means it's closer to 🌎. When venus appears in early morning means it's farther from the earth.

I'm from Kolkata. Here sky is very clear at sunset. From past 3-4 days i am regularly noticing these planets are coming close to each other. First they were very close to the moon. Now moon has gone upwards & these two are coming close to each other. Now waiting for 1st & 2nd March for witnessing this plantery event.

Venus and Jupiter in this conjunction are hidden behind the dazzling Sun and it is dark at night, so the Earth is actually flat with the Firmament.
