The thing I don’t understand is how could he move from Texas to California and didn’t think he needed to drive a car 🚘 when their is public transportation. He is always relying on someone or his friends. I can see if he was still in Texas with his family and they can baby him . But when u move out and ur on ur own u can’t be baby any more he likes to use ppl a lot in real life. He wouldn’t have any friends where he moved away from Texas. No one would want to be around him Leonard is the only one that can deal with him

I love how it all started...it was in season 1 and Leonard was the one that brought it into the apartment, but, it took Raj and Howard to help him then sat on it playing videos, Sheldon came into the apartment, picked his favourite spot on the couch and it went from there

My younger brother used to go through a phase where he would say "I own it" to everything we saw while on family trips. He once told a Yosemite guard that. The guard just smiled and said, "you sure do." It was only years later I learned what that meant.

Apart from Sheldon's obsession of his spot, damn, Leonard has too much confidence of Sheldon giving longer sitting time of his spot to Howard.

Did anyone else notice the judge that sent Sheldon to jail has the name J. Kirby like Jack Kirby the artist who worked with Stan lee and is in that episode

Sheldon’s reaction when Bernadette said “ He can’t sit someone else”

In the 4 co-ordinate system that's relative to the initial point at which he sat in said spot, it would mean 1 variable is TIME and therefore Penny couldn't alter it. Likewise her sitting in said spot without altering the 3 other dimensions (presumably or moreso necessarily spacial dimensions). Therefore her sitting in said spot has no physical resultant that should affect Sheldon given his initial parameters... ergo, he needs to take a long hard look at himself.

I think one of my biggest sticking points with "Big Bang Theory" is how Meemaw is so different in appearance and demeanor from Meemaw in "Young Sheldon." Yes, I realize she's much older now, but I just can't see Annie Potts' character aging that way.

In the episode when the Judge sent Sheldon to prison and told the big muscular black guy that he was sitting in his spot, I still for the life of me figure out; A). How Sheldon got him to move (yes, go watch the episode... he does actually move out of "Sheldon's spot" in a later scene). B). How Sheldon didn't get his head shoved down the provided toilet he would refuse to use.

The spot is in an eternal state of dibs. Dibs must be respected. The couch is irrelevant it could be a futon, a sofa, a loveseat, or a sectional. Not respecting the spot could have dire consequences. In short, respect the spot

It’s the spot in the living room. Before the couch was brought in, the exact same spot was occupied by a foldable chair.

The last show of the series should have featured all the characters clubbing Sheldon into oblivion.

The reason why Penny puts up with Sheldon is because he was THE ONLY ONE that never ever tried to hit on her nor gave into her charms. Typical women, you ignore her and she’s all over you. 😂😂😂
