I’ve given up on sunless tanners. Between the awful smell, the polkadot pores and the constant need for upkeep, I just can’t be bothered anymore. At age 36 I was fine with it but at 60 I would rather be doing something else!

My feet look like I did a really bad job putting self tanner on them But here’s the thing, it’s from Heart Failure! I don’t use self tanner. One morning I woke to not feeling right. My feet & ankles were triple their normal size! I pressed my thumb on my foot and it stayed for 30+ minutes! My Blood Pressure was 247/155 (normal is 120/60) The Ambulance was there in about 5 minutes! They rushed me to a small ER close to me because the Paramedics said they didn’t think I’d be alive long enough to get to the Big One in the City! That I needed more help than they could give in the Ambulance. I’m so grateful to that crew ❤ I was in Full Heart Failure! What frightened me the most is what my death would do to my Granddaughter. On Christmas Morning 3 yrs ago her other Grandma had a massive Heart Attack and died! She was 61. I like to think the blotches on my feet are a reminder to never again stop taking my Blood Pressure Medication! Which I had done! The Dr said had I waited maybe 4 hours I’d have died! So take your meds as directed by your Doctor 😊 And wear sunscreen 😂

You can never just quit any cardiac drug! Gradual tapering off, under a doctor's supervision and with a plan to start you on another drug, is the only safe way.

@@MyCleverHandle you are absolutely right! 💯 My stupidity nearly cost me my life! Last week a man standing behind me in line at the store said something about that discoloration! He had it too! We laughed and decided it’s like our Survivors club uniform 😂

Hello Dr ❤ does blue light from screens (mobile, laptop etc) cause aging? If yes, will normal sunscreens help protect against it? Any advice??

You should be using sunscreen daily either way whether in front of a screen or not

I wore tinted sunscreen to the derm once. .. He wasn’t happy about that. Told me he couldn’t check my face because I had makeup on 🤷🏻♀️
