The $260 Turtle Van next to the $60 Batmobile is quite striking. There really is a Turtle Tax these days.

This batmobile looks sooo much better than the first release, but it's still not perfect. The canopy isn't shaped right. The windows are still too big and slanted too much. The cockpit windows on the actual car are more narrow and the car looks even more aggressive because of it.

there is an aftermarket canope replacement coming out that fixes it.

I got a lovely delayed shipping notice from Amazon this morning about this, that's always a great way to start the day. Also, he designed it where you have to stick his ears up inside the raised part of the roof.

I'm sure others have mentioned it, but Batman v Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a loving tribute to both, and arguably the best crossover ever. If you haven't seen it, don't walk, run... to whatever streaming platform you can find it.

Glad you digg this one man! Awesome review/comparison 🙌🏻 I had one ordered but canceled it because I’m getting the film figure 6 pack. I really just don’t have room for a 22 inch batmobile. The single seat is a bummer. It’s not a huge issue for most people and I totally get that these are “just toys”, but having Keaton stare at that black line down the middle of the windshield just doesn’t work for me 😅

Mine was sitting on the front door steps when I got home. Awesome piece.

Now we just need a Mezco 89 Joker 🤞

That matte finish is 🔥. Glad this worked out for ya. Though I can appreciate this, I didn't want it, but the minute they release a Nicholson Joker... 😃

I don't have it in hand but I do think the color of The Flash Batmobile is pretty cool. I like the shinny finish. The canopy color of course is unforgivable.

Jazzinc is already making one coming out early next year and I pre-ordered mine already plus they are making the 1995 Batman forever batmobile also which looks incredible. Hot toys is also making the 1/6 scale 1989 batmobile and it's up for pre-order on sideshow collectibles.

This is badass for sure!! Amazon better come through and fulfill my order. Definitely looking forward to adding this to the collection ❤

McFarlane really keeps things affordable. 80 bucks for a Batmobile and a ‘89 Batman isn’t bad for 2023. The McFarlane figures generally have good articulation.

Nice comparison. Unfortunately the windscreen is still way too high on the new one.

I saw your video posted and went to check my email if mine shipped, and had an emailed that mine got delayed 😫 so until it arrives, i shall live vicariously through you. Now the search begins for a proper Batman, thinking of maybe the NECA or Mezco 😬

Which makes the photo false advertisement. Also I'm willing to buy the older Batmobile since Amazon screwed me on mine.

The box alone makes it better than the flash version and worth the second purchase.

I have a slight bit of regret about not ordering this. Hopefully McFarlane sticks to the pattern and there is a better version announced soon.

I let go of my flash version as soon as I ordered this. I dig it a lot more for sure. And the figure is actually better than I was expecting. At the price I think it’s a win. Hope they put them out again for those who missed out.

Great review. It just makes me jealous of those who seem to be receiving theirs. I wasn't able to get the 1st one when it came out even though I was there on time to buy it. The Amazon exclusive was late going live, but I hung around and kept refreshing until it did. It stayed up for a few minutes after I secured one, but I still received an order postponement. Has anyone had their postponed order shipped, or did they eventually just get canceled? Referring to this version and / or the previous one. My guess is that it'll get canceled.

Canceling this preorder is probably in my top 3 toy fails for 2023. Looks great!

Why are these released in such limited quantities when there is such an obvious demand for it? Seems like a weird business practice.

I was able to pre-order with no problem, while others were having issues, but mine still got delayed and might end up canceled. I'm switching to collecting My Little Pony.

There’s a whole lot of people that missed out on this Batmobile. McFarlane would be an idiot to leave all that money sitting on the table. And I would die laughing at all the scalpers trying to make double their money for this bullshit right now. Don’t give in guys. McFarlane will definitely reissue this somehow.

Good you are happy with it. I am a bit disappointed, I could really fix the color issue but the main issues which can't be fixed after purchase are the canopy, dimensions, and the nozzle of the jet engine.

There was a board game made by IDW they was ninja turtles then they released another with the same rules system for BTAS, so you can interchange turtles and Batman characters in different scenarios.

It’s the same gray canopy on both. The matte spray blends it better but it’s the same car but one has clear matte spray paint over it.

13:49 Damn, you spinning it around makes the thing look so tiny, as if you have Andre the Giant hands. Looks almost like a 3 3/4" car. Crazy that this Batmobile is actually in 7" scale, but you got ppl sayin' it looks like a go-kart next to Batman. I've seen one in person, and it's definitely a lot smaller than I thought.

The Van is from Underground Arsenal, 3rd party company. Highly recommended. I have one and it’s awesome. Huge scale! I missed the Batmobile 89 too, I have the grey canopy but I’ll probably paint it.

I still haven’t got mine. My order had a ship date and now it’s just changed to order received. I contacted amazon about it but they weren’t much help. I’ve checked my email every day, so I know it’s not delayed, but for some reason, it’s acting like it is.

Something about the head makes it look more like Clooney. The Flash Batman figure looks like it has a slightly thicker neck, which helps to give more of the shape of the one piece cowl. The outside, embossed part of the emblem should be black as well and the little vile holder things on the belt need to be moved in slightly closer to the middle.

😂 had to rewatch a couple times, the left handed snap bit kept getting me ticked.

The ears are accurate as they had to use a shorter ear hood for him in the original film to get the canopy closed

Why would anyone buy a plastic model when you could get a diecast one? Somehow repulsed by it being plastic but this one has so much interest and I don’t understand why? 😢

Amazon sent me the notification that this one was coming. The amount of cardboard that I had to unbox was like a Russian puzzle box. I highly doubt McFarlane could make his Batman 89 Batmobile a two-seater, unless he retooled it so that you could open the sides...which kind of defeats why you would get a Batman 89 Batmobile. Otherwise, just because I love the Batman Keaton movies so much, I would like to see McFarlane's take on the Batmissile. If this happens, then I can understand why McFarlane has made the Batman 89 Batmobile as just a one-seater.

Brother, I refuse to purchase anymore Mcfarlane items because of the handling that he did with it, (were to start). Glad you were able to get it but still I will not I don't care if he was the last place to get anything from I still will not be putting any of my money towards him or his company. He did that to himself.
