I agree. I carry from the time I get up until I go to bed again, every day. When I'm in bed I'm within reach of my gun. It's not like the world in the 1970's that I grew up in.

The 1970s were far worse crime wise in many respects, though the place you grew up in may have been safe. The homicide rate in 1979 was 9.7 per 100,000. In 2022, it was 6.3 per 100,000.

My wife, best friend, and myself, were jumped by the knockout gang in STL on Eads bridge. No one helped, they just recorded it. Thankfully, I was in a lot better shape than I am now, and was able to take control of the situation and was able to scatter them. I fought my way out, couldn't find my wife, so went back in. Wish I had been carrying. The cops at the end of the bridge stood and watched the same group do the same to another couple. It disgusting.

Good advice,I can remember many years back ,after I returned home from the Army,I talked to a old friend .he had just started working at a small gas station along interstate 77 in VA and while drinking a bottle of pop .I told him he needed to arm himself.from where it worked he could see his childhood home.he laughed and told me that the Army had made me paranoid.within 2 weeks my grandmother woke me early one morning and told me that my friend and a coworker had been murdered at work .in a robbery.that all happened over 40 years ago.and no one has ever been charged with the murders.ive preached arming your self for many years to my Friends and family.but most think I'm nuts.they have never had their life threatened.they can't understand that there is pure evil in some folks, and you can encounter it at any moment .

Sadly, the evidence is indicating the opposite. Everyone is arming up. They go everywhere expecting a fight. And as such, instead of avoiding trouble, they jump right in, feet first. A friend told me that yesterday there was a shooting at a 6th grade graduation in the parking lot in Florida. The guy claims self defense, but if he hadn't had a gun, he probably would have avoided the issue altogether. No indication the other guy was armed. Odds are the shooter "stood his ground" because he knew he was armed and could defend himself. Now he is looking at second degree murder. The problem is that since one is armed, they assume they are now a tough guy. They focus only on their ability to defend themselves without thinking that will kill another, and they are likely going to lose their freedom in exchange for saving their life. Everyone is angry. Everyone is looking for a fight. No one wants to back down or avoid. Look at comments on social media. People arguing all the time. People calling each other names. Everyone scared that they are in mortal danger all of the time. (Armed inside your home? Are there hordes in the street attacking your house?) Everyone with a short fuse. One misstep, and it is BOOM. There is no walking back from that. Maybe instead of learning how to quickly kill your opponents in a fight, you should learn to avoid the fight. What most haven't learned is they are living in MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction. There are no winners. You think you won because you killed your attacker, but think how much you won sitting in prison for a few years, especially if you could have simply walked away.

  • @kenofken9458

@@tommissouri4871 Yes that's the problem as I see it. I'm not against gun ownership but I sure don't feel safe with people carrying everywhere all the time. Most states now have absolutely no requirement that the person carrying has any understanding of the law or competence of any kind. We have people shooting others because they accidentally pulled into the wrong driveway, or knocked on the wrong door - in the middle a day, or because they took the parking space they wanted and they have to walk a whole extra 20 feet. We have people starting fights with unarmed people and then executing them and claiming "self defense".

This world has changed all for the worse. I worked in Emergency Medical Services "EMS" for 30 years, I can still remember the beginning of my EMS career back in the 80's, total strangers would stop at an accident scene asking if there was anything they could do to help. By the end of my career, hardly anyone would ask if they could help. It saddens me that our once wonderful country has grown cold.

Actually crime in America is down according to recent FBI statistics. FYI: The new fourth-quarter numbers showed a 13% decline in murder in 2023 from 2022, a 6% decline in reported violent crime and a 4% decline in reported property crime. That’s based on data from around 13,000 law enforcement agencies, policing about 82% of the U.S. population, that provided the FBI with data through December. Semper fi🇺🇸

@alananderson5929 I hear you on the stats, but as a security contractor, I've seen a huge increase in crime committed or attempted against our clients and more and more businesses are hiring private security because the cops refuse to pursue criminals. So that stat you shared is subjective data based on what I'm seeing on the ground.

I can't order bbs or pellets or the little co2 canister through the mail it's illegal. I can't order a pellet pistol and have it sent through the mail. I'm 69 years old and disabled, I didn't have a car, I live alone. There was someone using lock picks on the door to break in. I stood inside, waiting to see if he would get in. What was I supposed to do? Tell him that's a naughty boy. You'll go back to prison again. He just got out of prison for child molestation. The police say it's your word against his. He has rights.

Love that statement he made about people not coming to your aid they just pull their phones out and film it. I have lost count of how many times I have come to someone's aid on the Walmart parking lot . People will see ladies coming out from shopping who are on their phone not paying a bit of attention to what's around them and all of a sudden these guys walk up on them. At least 3 times I tap them on the shoulder and said I'm gonna give you about 30 seconds to get the hell off this parking lot. My gun was visible still in my pants but my hand was on it. A couple of screamed and ran off . It has gotten real bad at the one I go to in Shreveport. Walmart makes millions of dollars. They need to put security out on that lot moving around . I'm sure they might after somebody gets really hurt and if they do get hurt I hope somebody sues the heck out of them .

You’re exactly right I live in rule eastern Tennessee and was alerted a few weeks back at 3 o’clock in the morning from my blink camera system. Someone was coming in my lower driveway looking in the windows of a house I own next-door. I was out the door with my Mossberg 500 in less than 30 seconds running around the house now knowing I was getting close I fired once up in the air telling him he better come out shining my flashlight around and then I hear my wife yelling he’s around here. I had no clue she had even followed me out the door. I made a complete circle, and she had him cornered, between my truck and garage with a cell phone within 6 feet of her and her yelling stop or he will shoot you ! I get him away from my wife and he says he’s homeless and was looking for a place to charge his cell phone lol I said where’s your cell phone you got any ID he had neither he had a flashlight is all he had ,this is a big gentleman 6 foot 200 poundsI told him he was lucky to be alive and he better be getting he says I wish you would’ve shot me and put me out of my misery. I another she pointed at him and I said get out of the county I called the the law the next day . They ended up catching them to three days later two guys in a girl had broke in living in a vacant trailer ! There is so many homeless people around Americans plus the ones coming from other countries my wife don’t think I’m so crazy now trying to arm everyone ! Thanks for all your hard work and videos! I used to carry a 40 caliber pistol then 9 millimeter now a 22lr pistol doesn’t matter anymore as long as you have something to protect yourself against criminals . If ya know how to use your tool then you are good to go. A carpenter doesn’t work without a hammer. Why should you not have a protection tool.

My pistol only comes off of my hip at night when I'm going to bed for the evening (it goes on the nightstand) or when I shower (it's on the toilet seat). It became a habit when I carried professionally, and has carried over to civilian life. The same goes for my wife! Never be unarmed. Never be at the mercy of another human being. Our streets are not secure...and neither are our homes these days. Also, get a dog. Even a little yappy one (I have two - a Mastidane and a border collie) They don't have to be trained guard dogs...they are naturally an amazing early warning system should someone approach your home.

I do carry an American Arms 5 shot revolver in 22 Mag as it fits neatly alongside my Leatherman tool and Felix flashlight and almost indistinguishable! I've been carrying daily for well over 10 years, sometimes even when an employer disapproved; no one had a clue that I was armed while I scanned their groceries. It had only to do with my personal security whilst going to that job and returning home. If you've ever worked grocery retail, you know what kind of freaks are out there.

We're closed overnight, but there has been people out in the lot that were fighting or banging on our CLOSED AND LOCKED door thinking we can just LET them in; sometimes there's stuff like that that happens. Had a guy one night wanting to get in the store and take a ------. He was mad and cussing and my supervisor was watching the door and called cops to get rid of the guy. Of course that's just one example.

When you kill off all the green plant growth, grass, trees, etc, and then cover the earth with heat sinks such as asphalt, concrete, stucco covered buildings, you then get warming. Anyone who has ever ridden a motorcycle in the city and then passes a green park will tell you that even wearing full leathers, you can feel a significant temperature drop just by being on an asphalt or concrete highway near a green environment.

Statistically crime went up dramatically around 2020 since then it has gone down a bit. There are a number of factors that cause crime. One of the biggest factors is increasing poverty levels. When people can’t get what they need through honest means they turn to crime. Another big factor is the people that are physically addicted to hard drugs robbing people to get their next fix. It’s important to look at these issues from a sociological perspective.

I have had the 1 day I needed it & it was there for me. It wasn't in the news or even reported but I know in my heart my gun prevented a crime & possibly saved my life. I have carried everyday since I got my Carry Permit going on 15+ years. I am a responsible gun owner, follow the law and pretty much quit drinking to be able to carry when we go out. In Mn you can carry in a bar if your not drinking(actually up to a .04 bac)if it's not posted on the door. Hey Cheese Heads this is in Minny not Sfconny Know the laws in your State people. Packers Suck btw(sorry all my relatives are from Wisconsin). This incident didn't happen at the bar anyway but on the way home after. I grew up & have lived most of my life about 30 miles West of Minneapolis. You know the kind of place where you shoot and pee in your backyard & not a neighbor to complain unless you got a new gun they haven't tried yet. When your neighbor busts off a quick 5 round burst from their new AR at 3AM bcuz they couldn't wait till the next morning & u text them to see if they need any help or a shovel. You know where know one asks & it is literally frowned upon if you got a permit for the shed you just built which started life as a heavy duty pallet with treated lumber from a new machine at work lol.The night in question I went out to Minneapolis to meet some friends at a bar to see a buddy's band. After a night with good music, food & friends I made my first mistake, I needed to get gas to get home in a area I've definitely been to before but didn't know that well, Northeast Minneapolis. I now fill up before I go into such situations.(Lesson learned) Ready for the 2nd mistake, I prefer to just drive to find something rather than maps or anything on my phone. That's the best way to actually learn & know an area. Now Northeast Minneapolis is usually fine & a Truly Great hard scrabble blue collar neighborhood but in my search for a gas station I found myself in North Minneapolis at 3AM. Now the way I look at neighborhood's is 95% of the people are good folks just living their lives & want to be left alone to do so. But that night I ran into the other 5%. Well I found a station that closed at 6PM(should of been a giveaway bad area)but had pay at the pump. So I'm filling up my Cadillac CTS when I notice a older Buick, late 80's early 90's GM family car guessing Park Ave not sure what else buick made in that style with some fancy rims pull up(always be observant of what's going on around you)with 5, I'd guess 15-20 years old in it. Let's just say they had a thuggish look to them. They sat there watching me get gas & I could tell they were talking about me. The Buick was I'd say 20 feet away from me when the doors began to open. It's winter time in Mn at a closed station & they weren't close enough to a pump to get gas so I concluded they were either coming for me or trying to sell me stolen Girl Scout Cookies. I moved to a spot with better cover a large steel pole that supported the roof above the pumps. I moved my coat out of the way put my hand on my gun but did not draw. I just looked at them with a confidence I doubt I would had without my gun. I gave them the look if you want to let's do this. Only 2 of them, the 2 on the opposite side of the car got out. The 2 on the side closest to me saw what I did & froze. The 2 that got out noticed thier friends still in the car looked at me then got back in the car & they drove off. I only had a 5-shot 38 Spcl. Ruger LCR on me with 2 extra speed loaders 15 rounds total. I had my Mossberg 590 8+1 cruiser ready in the trunk but didn't think I could get to it. With 5 of them, especially if they had multiple guns they should of had no problem dispatching me. But my confidence stalled them. Criminals hate armed victims.

Your right on the money with the fact of so many losing their minds. Very few people on earth right now are being advised by the wisdom of an old soul with much experience. They are in the main first timers in a body anywhere anywhen. This makes them very vulnerable to negative inspiration whereas an old soul will have the wisdom of their experience to get them to turn away from negative inspiration. I have been advised that only 20% of the population actually is steered through life by positive inspiration from their soul. As the frequency rises ,as it is apparently, the increase surging through a body and mind makes everyone jumpy and increasingly crazy if they arent ballanced by their soul directives. It will keep accelerating till we reach the top of the octave we are immersed in at which time an octave leap occurs and we flash into the next octave of reality that has none of the matrix we re used to. Souless people will go out of their minds and dissapear when the leap is made. Till then protect yourself however you can at the same time trusting in Gods plan for you.

I now have to survive the American legal system (And I might not) which is getting pretty hostile to 2A supporters. So, long story short if I survive the encounter, survive the legal system I will be barely surviving life because I am now bankrupt and broke from defending myself from the legal system. Now, if I had immunity like law enforcement... I'll change my stance.
