Don't Lecture Me About Democracy: Rwanda President Paul Kagame Destroys Arrogant European Journalist

We extend a warm welcome to The Africa News Network.
During an interview with a French news channel, Rwandan President Paul Kagame emphasizes to a European journalist that he would express his criticism towards the West for scrutinizing him. He asserts that Western countries, like any others, have their own shortcomings and should refrain from bullying other nations over matters of democracy. american democracy is bribe politicians. money money money 😂 the rulers is oligarch who spend alot of money on the military industrial complex. like josh soros actualy the owner of USA. no metter who will be come president. so, look at the democracy ancient greek era, demoracy concept is not limited election, but what ppl want to choose, the voice of majority. and what ppl policy they want. sadly for today democracy can buy media, politicians and army

The nation that lasted the longest in human history was a monachy, not a democracy, and yes it was an Afrikan nation! It lasted for 3000 years! Democracy is a farce that doesn't even work in the west! They like to impose it on Afrika because they know it will never promote independence and sovereignty for Afrika and Her children!

Kagame is right he has overseen a renaissance in Rwanda while the world sat by. They did it themselves and thats what the western leaders fear, a good example of a great african leader, its much easier to keep people dependent when you are propping up the Mugabes, and Anc in SA

But no British Prime Minister has ever been elected to that office by the public. It has always been the leader of the majority parliamentary party that becomes PM. My problem is that the Party members voted for someone last year only for her to be overthrown by a parliamentary coup and Sunak voted in as PM by the Conservative MPs. Now, whether you approved of Liz Truss or not, the way that was handled was appalling and showed how contemptuous MPs are towards Party members and by extension, the electorate. Still, not to worry, the utter buffoon Sir Kneel-a-lot may well become PM late next year and the UK will be even further mired in the brown stuff than it is currently.

With due respect for Kagame and leaders like him who have done excellent work, as a system, things can go terribly wrong for an entire country if the wrong person is in power for 20 years. Everywhere, including in US Senate etc, there should be a cap for people remaining in office in order to de-risk. It is the responsibility of a good leader to make himself dispensable, strengthen institutions and groom the next generation of leaders.
