@@NubsWithGuns I understand what your saying man, I felt the same way but actually the way its structured is to build a very strong foundation of basic techniques from the very start before creating bad habits regardless of your level. I would actually say its a great place to start for someone. you'll have to start slow and at lower BPMs but that is totally okay!! The other day, i had to lower a tempo down to 30 BPM just so i could get my fingers and picking hand correct. For example if you need to work on Alternate picking, the way Kiko has built his course is so that anyone at any speed can start to put in the ground work to get more control and much faster with an effective and strategic build up over time. If you want to do it. You can do it man!

I started Kiko’s Guitar Hack and 7 Factors during COVID and then transitioned to The Guitar Academy when it came out and these are exactly the courses and the teacher I needed out of my 18 years of playing but never had any structure and feedback.

Regarding the event in Barcelona, i was there on the front row (in front of James, so, the opposite side of the stage where Judas Priest was playing), and i could not hear their guitar tech playing and sound checking. I imagine it's totally different from the stage or another place in the audience (specially close to Priest stage), so it's totally unrespectfull of the band playing and the audience as well. Btw, for those wondering, there was a quick sound check by Megadeth crew, but after the previous band has finished. Great show, hope to see you again soon on stage. Thanks a lot Kiko

Kiko, Have You (as a band) ever thought about recording a show with symphony orchestra? I would love to watch such show and have it on DVD / BlueRay. I think that this is the only thing I miss soooo much in Megadeth’s discography. Songs like “Symphony of Destruction”, “In my darkest hour”, “A tout le monde” or “Conquer or die” would sound amazing!

A couple of questions: will you one day do a Blues disk? And also, do you like the research of the “analog” sound? I mean, trying different guitars, pickups, analog effects, tubes and so on, to get a “dynamic” sound? Thank you so much!

So Dave has been talking a lot in interviews for the new album about how refreshing it was working with you and Dirk on writing the new songs and he always goes on about how well you play. How has Dave's influence and being in Megadeth changed you as a musician? Did it stretch you to places you never thought you would go as a songwriter?

When I want to play something like arpeggios or a melody over a chord progression I start by playing the root note of the chords in the rhythmic pattern and then at the one of the next repititions I try picking the notes of the chords in a slower rhythm like quarter notes and repeat that and slowly transition to faster notes or synchopated rhythms in order to get the feeling for the timing of chords. After many repititions I kind of get that feeling and try to noodle around...

There was some very good questions this time around great thinking. Standing up compared to sitting down was especially interesting. Kiko doesn’t have a small beer gut so he can’t relate. Most of my guitars feel very good standing up but my Gibson SG feels a little off. Naturally the neck wants to dive down when not held so this doesn’t help. Tough nut to crack with an SG for me and that sucks because it is beautiful.

Kiko, how do you play those licks that go from 0 to 100, like let's say you just played a melodic phrase and you want to go on a fast descending run, how do you do that right of the bat? My hands stutter a moment before playing the fast part (usually a descending scale of 3 notes per string) additionally, to avoid that stutter I usually do a trill and start the picking on the next string. Also, hyrule is pronounced high-rule (that's from a videogame called the legend of Zelda)
