Grande Felipe.

You know what I really like about Kiko? we know there is a lot of cool metal artist out there that we admired,. but like what he does ( vlogs , sharing backstage footage , tour life ) it feels like I have known him for so long personally ,everytime I watched his videos, it's so "Genuine" you really know what kind of a heart he has. maybe talking to him all day long with a barrel of beer will not be enough.. such a cool and humble guy. Iv've been following him since Angra days and this dude still amazes me, not just a underrated Guitar soloist but as a person as well. we love you Kiko!

James Lomenzo is a Beast on the Bass
Dave Mustaine once said that finding Chris Broderick must have been what Ozzy felt when he found Randy. That's not changed. Just because he wanted to go a different direction musically changes nothing. Chris is one badass guitarist and musician. So is Kiko.

Of course Felipe Andreoli
Well said Kiko, you mentioned many brilliant performers you've worked with & I'm sure they feel it an honor to work with you too. 100 percent agree on stage presence & having that communication with the rest of the band ( or as my teacher says : it will not have that bite or intention to it in the performance.) As always thank you so much for sharing so much with us. Safe & Happy travels on the 2nd leg of the Megadeth tour this fall! 🖤🦋💚🎸💚

Just wanted to write, I love to see you Kiko playing or talking. You are really cool dude. The funny story is you were recommended to me by my Brazilian friend that i should check you out, then I forgot that recommendation and found you anyway doing my routine search for guitar gods, then I recommended you to that Brazilian friend and she replied "I told you Kamil about him like a year ago! " xD I love your attitude, humility, great skill and knowledge in music. Also I love to see all behind the scenes videos! Keep it up!
Thank you Kiko!!!!
So well said 👏
yeah the jamming clip was very nice
Dude I am so stoked to see you play tomorrow! Enjoy your time in Ridgefield, WA! Cheers!!

Fantastic video Kiko! With all my respect
This dude is the nicest guy on the planet. Dave is very lucky to have him with MD. Keep rockin Kiko.
Love you as a person and all your videos kiko. Your skills and personality is so cool.
Very diplomatic answer to the bass question. The answer is, of course, Felipe.
great channel, great music, great guitarist. doesn't get any better.
I’ve been playing classical and metal for decades and totally understand the compromise with my nails! And yes, the halfie nails are what get us through sometimes. Tommy Emmanuel’s solution is to cut all his nails short and use his fingertips on his right hand, didn’t work for me cuz I’m not superhuman like him. Thanks for sharing Kiko and hope to see you at another camp soon, Petrucci was awesome last year, your late night solo sesh was a highlight 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Well said sir! God bless always. 🤘🏼🎸🙏🏻🍻
jaqmes lomenzo is very inspiring not only as a bass player but as a musician. your jams are the best thing about your videos, imho at any rate, love the interaction

That jam was freaking awesome
Seeing James in that jam video was awesome. I had no idea he is so great.
Awesome Kiko... you rules 🤘
kiko you are my inspiration!!!

Hey Kiko! As a classical guitar player, also playing flamenco and electric, dealing with nails was my permanent problem. Recently after finding out that Tarrega changed to playing with no nails at some point and then was ADAMANT that short or no nails sound BETTER....I took my chances and got them as s short as I dared :) Reality is, my classical guitar playing needed a bit of adjustment but nothing that was unmanageable. Give it a try :)

Can we expect another solo album any time soon? Open Source is my current all-time favourite instrumental album and Bruno and Felipe's contributions are just phenomenal.
T he video you showed for " Emotion" I liked your use of harmonics in the early part.

just wanna say I’ve really enjoyed your playing and Dave made the best choice in my opinion anyway getting you in the band ..
Yeah !!! I agree with all that you said about long nails .... same thing happens to me, especially when changing from bass to nylon guitar or piano 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one ....
Very good!.
"I'm always managing that tiny fraction of the nail." Lol, at least I'm not the only one. ✌️😁👍
James is an amazing bassist!
I'm a fan if open source. In fact I use the Linux family of operating systems. Recording to just plain surfing the web. Open Source music is promising for promoting recording artists. Look forward to more from you Kiko.

Great answers 👌 You know what I'd really dig Megadeth doing... Is bringing a jam moment into the set.. There was an element of that with some of the melodies that was done with Peace Sells.. Or that sort of jam part in the middle of Symphony and Shewolf.. Done in the past.. Would be fun to revisit that idea live.

No live jams please. Or not at a Megadeth show. Incredible playing on the backstage shredding jazz fusion jam though!
The correct answer for the bassist question is Thiago Espirito Santo. He is amazing!! I can only assume you have beef with him, for his name to not come up at all. He's the best, by far.
by the way nice to see Felipe Andreoli playing with "Sons of Apollo" ..... what a great achievement !!!
I'm not a bassist or anything but Jame's playing in that jam reminded me of Geezer Butler.
Andreoli
Have you ever had problems of others being jealous of your ability and also being in Megadeth? Thanks man you are top notch!
Saw the show in ABQ. It sure would have been great to see that jam session (can you work it into the set???)
Would love to see a Megadeth jam EP. Just music maybe a few lyrics but mostly a jam session.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Kiko, love your videos taking us all along with you out on tour. One question I've always wondered about in your line of work is how do your endorsement deals work? Can you talk about that in some detail? Also, how do you do your taxes? How does that all work with what you can and can not write off?

Hey Kiko !! Saludos Kiko 🤘🏻
The best bass player I've ever played with is Victor Wooten plus his big brother Roy 'Futureman' Wooten is a musical genius too! 🎶 Y'all should jam together sometime and record an album 🎸
Some content with past members would be cool, and also if some parts (licks or riffs)was used in the new song from the past members would they be mentioned? Also all the members of Megadeth have been incredible musicians, but how come they also have great hair?

Hi Kiko! I know that as like any other craft, playing guitar is always in state of practicing and learning/developing skills. So, what moment in your life as a guitar player was the most challenging (in spite of pushing off your limits) of them all?

Rick Beato did a video on Guthrie and raved over his improvisation skill. Don't get me wrong, Guthrie is a legend but he hasn't seen Kiko improvise. Kiko's sense of harmony and melody is out of this world.
@colmiaz
@@rahuldev3620 Dont get me wrong, I follow Kiko's work for a long time now (basically since Holy Land) and he is indeed great in improvisation, but I think the infusion of styles Guthrie can perform in an improvisation is second to none. Not that Kiko cant play many other styles, but he wont usually sound like a player of that specific style like Guthrie does. At least that is my humble opinion. Either way, they're both great musicians in their own right. As for why I would love to see Kiko in a Beato's video, is because his influence is indeed rich of complex harmony concepts as you've said, mostly because (I believe) of brazilian music background such as MPB (popular brazilian music), Bossa Nova, Northern styles derived from african and arabic music and other regional sounds that are also unique. On top of that, Kiko seems like a work horse and a perfectionist, so he also is very knowledgeable in Music Business and Marketing.
