I love the fact that at 1:37 you can see yellow guy’s shy imaginary older brother on the brick wall, I can see that they still used some old puppets and made new characters around them. Even though they made a new model for the real puppet in the show, they clearly based it off of this one.

as cool as it would be to see this, it doesnt fit dhmis at all, the confined spaces, the unsettling feeling you get and chills gained just by watching it feels basically gone I would like to see it if they release the full thing for fun as non-cannon, it does look pretty enjoyable to watch anyway :)

Yeah, I know this is just the beginning of the episode, but I feel like something is off. The environment from the TV show is an upgrade IMO since it's got both the confined space of like two room in the house and the occasional random once per episode location, but also the fact that there is something more mysterious outside of the normal set

I mean, they obviously put soooo much work into it, and somebody is trying to take down the leaked footage so it's likely that they're going to release it at some point once the show is out, even if it has nothing to do with the story (so far, it's looking like the setting of Clayhill was totally scrapped for whatever reason which would explain why the wakey wakey trailer was taken down)

I'm not sure, it's quite obvious we're getting plenty more of dhmis, and I'm not sure if this pilot will be a part of it, but even if it isn't we're still getting 6 episodes which is pretty good all considered. Shame it was delayed, but I get why, still would've been cool to enjoy it during my birthday week tho.

The fact that in the show they mention clay hill and that it basically when to ruins and doesn't exit. That actually gives me a lot of new theories, I think it would be a interesting concept if they brought it up again in a later season if they make one

I really wish we should seen the pilot. Parts would be funny but very unsettling and uncomfortable.

They seem to have kept the upside down cone guy or "Shy Guy" and put him in the other series. I guess they really liked his design that much.

I think the Wakey Wakey plot would've been better than the one we've got in the DHMIS series. The one in the series barely shows any continuity throughout the episodes, but keeps the original DHMIS theme of a childrens TV show with each episode speaking of a different topic. Wakey Wakey seems to be a plot-moving show that would focus on the characters a little more, flesh them out and create a unique world that they live in. I would've much rather had the Wakey Wakey plot, because I want to see a multi-season show where the characters have a huge adventure each season.

There is continuity in the episodes just because its not directly shown to your face doesnt mean there isnt, you need to actually analyze each episode

I’m still anticipating this 40 or 20 minute episode that had the view of the town and with Mean Steve being the antagonist

They’re definitely gonna revisit this concept at some point. It’s way too good to just scrap entirely. Yeah the “current affairs” angle is terrible and good riddance to that, but opening up the world and giving these guys more to do is gonna be necessary at some point if they don’t want things to get stale.

They actually also just didnt like the idea of opening it up in general and thought it would be a better idea to make it more like the original show But i do genuinely hope they revisit this in some form because i liked the concept of the dhmis characters being in like this strange little neighborhood

Ok so basically this pilot came from the Sundance 2019 show in the UK, one of the showings was the wakey wakey pilot. Also, if you check their channel, the uploaded a teaser for the wakey wakey show.
