Don't Get Closer! Rescue Stray Cat Who Spent Whole Life to Eat Garbage
Hissy Chrissy had been a stray cat who spent most of her life outdoors. She roamed the streets every day in search of food. She learned to fight for survival, facing off against stray dogs and other animals competing for scraps.
The cat looks so pitiful!
But Chrissy’s life was about to change. A young woman named Nikki Martinez had been watching this stray cat for some time. She loved animals and couldn’t bear the thought of Chrissy suffering outside in such extreme weather. She knew that if Chrissy continued living outdoors, her health would quickly deteriorate, possibly leading to a tragic end.
Every day, Nikki placed a fresh bowl of ice in the shade for Chrissy. She placed food and water near the entrance of her home and watched from a distance, hoping the stray cat would approach. Over time, Chrissy became more familiar with the setup, eventually venturing inside to stand by the window, looking for Nikki. Chrissy was still not ready to be touched or handled.
Determined to help Chrissy, Nikki set up a food trap inside the house, carefully preparing it to lure Chrissy in. Chrissy, enticed by the smell of the food, followed the trail and entered the trap. The mechanism closed gently behind her, and although Chrissy was initially frightened, Nikki's calm and reassuring presence helped soothe her fears.

I don't know how long of time this video took place but I believe she will be letting her be petted with in a year. Held well it takes a lot longer to give that much trust. I had to pick my boy up in short intervals but now when I do a total look of pride comes to his face. We're happy together.

@@jeromebreeding3302 I wouldn't think my boy Felix is either and at 9 years old it may take a little longer. He is however now sleeping with me and he taken my que of needing too touch . I love it . I see him move his mouth and tongue and when he does, I say "I love you too baby" he stops. I've seen him mimic in other ways, so I snatched that for him saying it back.

Thank you both for your love, kindness and patience in getting Chrissy to trust you. Chrissy had most likely experienced years of ill treatment from human beings who should protect her. Hence her need to be cautious. It has been heart-warming to watch this journey unfold, including the bond between Chrissy and her new friendsm including the dogs. Once again, THANK YOU.

As a person who has also been homeless on the street for years I have had people jump me yell at me lie about me so I can only imagine what the monsters do to a poor beautiful cat. Thankyou for helping these precious cats

Крисси с самого начала была похожа на домашнюю кошку своей прекрасной дымчатой шубкой, хотя жизнь на улице, конечно, сказалась отрицательно на ее природной красоте. Вообще, кошки настолько прекрасны и совершенны, что достаточно взять с улицы любого самого страшненького, побитого уличной жизнью кота, отмыть, причесать, подкормить, иногда подлечить, и он станет украшением любого самого прекрасного дома и самой доброй семьи... Если бы ВСЕ люди это понимали, то не было бы бездомных кошек и котов. А вообще-то спасение даже одной одинокой кошачьей Души дает Человеку настоящее счастье, потому, что помогает осуществлять ему его Предназначение: любить, защищать и беречь природу этой прекрасной Земли...

Why are people so cruel with stray cats?
Ok, I rescued a pregnant stray cat. She had three kittens one of which we kept along with her. During that time I had three other stray cats that had been with me at least four years. Between them other strays came and went but those four became quite at home let us hold, scratch, and play with. Now the only one left i Midnight, all my others are gone even Dax who was her baby. She's about twelve according to how old she was when she had the kittens. All this to say she still doesn't trust me. She will come close but the moment I reach out to touch she she moved away always just beyond arms reach. Do you have any suggetions on how I can get her to change and let me hold and scratch her?
