DON'T Follow ResMed's Filter Guidelines!! ⛔️ Here's Why...
For all ResMed CPAP machines: the AirSense 11, AirSense 10 and AirMini, ResMed recommends replacing the filter every 6 months and checking it every month. But at Respshop.com we think this is terrible advice! Here's why...

I live in Las Vegas which is a dusty desert. I need to change my filter every one to two weeks.

I get supplies every 3 months. 3 packs of 2 filters. That works out to be 2 filters a month. So every 2 weeks, I change them. I believe that the less dust ingested by your machine and your lungs is a win for both

Yeah I'm thinking seriously about a law suit. I've always followed ResMed instructions. I've had pneumonia twice now. I now clean everything everyday. The ResMed instrument are weekly and that ain't enough the more I think about it the more pissed of I'm getting. As for the filter I'm doing a new one every two months even though my bedroom is immaculate! 😡

Thank you for sharing! I am sorry to hear you have had pneumonia twice.
Does the fluffy side of the filter go facedown or face up when inserting it?

You want the fluffy side out.
Amazing how dark the filter can get in a short amount of time. Seem to do between 1 and 2 months for me.

Which way does the filter face ? Seems one side is smoother.
You run your AC ten hours a day?? Dang, that would cost a small fortune here in California.
