I used to watch KevJumba every time he posted a video and watched them multiple. I'll always have memories of him, nigahiga, and WhatTheBuck as my earliest youtube memories. I'm an OG. It was just kids relating to other kids. Also, i miss his dad. Good times. I miss OG youtube most days, but cant go back in time. 😢

Kevjumba is just one of the most likable creators on the platform. I can’t believe he started another hiatus as soon as I decided to revisit his channel

wherever he is, I hope he is doing ok.

Kevjumba is one of the all time greats. There’s a special place in my heart for his channel as it was basically my childhood.

saw him at a whole foods in colorado today. he came up trying to talk to me about meditation etc. and asked for donation for a book. i thought he looked so familiar and he told me he used to do youtube under the name kevjumba. so interesting! had to search around to see what he was up to since i used to watch him all the time as a kid.

@@PaulYuNow i think just looking to spread his word / get me to buy the book . i thought he was just another bracelet or pamphlet peddler but then i recognized him. aside from him being a past youtuber i have been approached by countless people that want to talk to you about the bhagavad gita just so they can "give" you a bracelet or book in return for a donation, then get mad when you say no lol

I'm so sad, when I was a kid I used to watch him, I'm now 19 watching his videos from the beginning and was going through college with him, it really helped me cope with me not being happy about things, but atleast the videos of him going through college were helping me making me feel like I'm not alone too, I miss him and I hope he'd atleast unprivate his videos

As much as I love OGs like KevJumba and Ryan Higa, it is time to move on. I watched them since middle school. I am almost 31. These guys are probably mid late 30s now. They probably have their own lives now.

I think we should just be grateful that he made a lot of peoples childhood. That era has ended long ago. He found new purpose and old fans just have to respect that. Remember when he started, he was just a college kid, no one at that time truly knows what they want to do or decide what is permanent. Everyone hope for his return but gotta understand that’s not his responsibility to keep the public posted. I’m sure he’s happy to leave. KZread has grew into a very toxic platform. I still follow all the old OG KZreadrs, I’m glad they’re no longer in the limelight and not involved with any current drama all they’re left with is a lifetime loyal fan base.
