🙅DON'T COME HERE!🚫North Cascades National Park Washington
Why is North Cascades National Park one of the least visited national parks? Damned if we know, maybe it's one of the best kept secrets in Washington state, and maybe they want to keep it that way! If you love visiting National Parks like this one, check out these other amazing parks! • Electric Hybrid Water ...

We are pumped for you to step into the vanlife of your dreams, break free from the norm, and create a positive life full of freedom. We post new videos every week from our tiny home on wheels to share the endless possibilities van life has to offer. This week we are continuing van life in Washington state by exploring both Mount Baker and 30 minutes away, North Cascades National Park. North Cascades National Park Washington is one of the least visited national parks in the system. If you're doing van life in Washington state don't miss these amazing scenic locations. This van life vlog has so many things to do in Northern Washington and things to do in central Washington.
Sending you love, health, and happiness,
XO Frankie and Alex *and Paco!

The reason the official visitor count is so low for this park is because most of the place that people go is not the actual park, but is instead a National Recreation Area that exists along the SR-20 corridor. Without it, you would need a national park pass to use SR-20. Most hikers will not venture that far off of SR-20, and in many cases, you would need to camp if you wanted to hike that far out. The other reason is that it's overshadowed our more famous parks, Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens, and most tourists will go for those two parks instead. But by far, North Cascades is the best of all of Washington's parks IMO. If you want to visit, make sure to come in the summer, because we close the highway in the winter, due to avalanche danger. Besides, the main appeal of this park is the plants overlooking the lakes! If you want great snow views, Snoqualmie Pass provides a treat in winter. One more kinda nitpicky thing: Downhill skiiers and snowboarders, don't go to our sno-parks. They aren't meant for downhill skiing, they're meant for cross-country skiing, and some have snowmobiling trails. You will not have a fun time if you come looking for some adrenaline, but you will have a fun time if you come looking for a cross-country trail with great views.

Paco, the Land Dog. He's adorable! And I love the way Frank says "Pahk". You guys make everything look like such fun. My favourite part of the video was your "afternoon place to be". It's so important to find time for the two of you...and of course, Paco.

Hey Andrea! Oh my gosh what a sweet comment. I love that we make everything look fun - what a compliment!! Paco really needed the relaxation after the hike... next to a giant body of freezing cold water probably wouldn't have been his first pick though haha he is very much a land dog!! haha xo Alex

So much fun and giggles! I was laughing the whole way - with you guys. Oregon's good hot springs were all damaged in the fires last summer/fall. I have a week off and planned to go on a solo camping trip...but my spots are still being rebuilt. Love your friends that you're traveling with and love all the dogs!

Sherry we love you! so glad to keep you entertained along the way. What a bummer so much in Oregon has been damaged, last year was certainly scary with all the fires. Hopefully this summer is much more calm and all those areas can start to regrow. If you want some spots maybe reach out to @skooliana on Instagram - he knows where all the hidden gem hot springs are in Oregon. Tell him we sent you!! xoxo Alex
Very fun to see this area through your eyes and lens (watched NN’s video the other night). Love that you are finding good dog friendly trails and that Sno-Park spot - WOW! Some good laughs around the campfire 🤣

I’ve lived in Washington for almost 25 years, and the PNW really rocks. You are capturing it beautifully on your videos - so many shades of green, peaks, old growth forests, waterfalls, mud, trees. Did you already go to the Olympic Peninsula? (If not, you should). Sorry for your border hassles, but this is a good “fall back”.

Hey. Just wanted to let you know the pro master has a weird thing where the brake light often comes on when going down hill. There are different theories as to why but in most cases the brakes are fine and it resets when you turn the engine off and on. Hope this helps!
@FnAVanLife

Thanks for the information. I think it has to do with brakes overheating on a down hill. Great to know that it is a normal thing on the promasters.
